Keep in mind that this is my first couple of flights and this footage is the feed to the control, not the full HD feed that the phantom records. Its also all put together through the dji go app so its thrown together.

Nice. I went for the advanced, mostly for the extra range.

Phoned about the deal and was advised that the deal definitely ended on Sunday.

Pretty disappointed I didn't see this offer last weekend as i would have bought one. :disappointed:

Who informed you that it was extended to the 7th?

Why didnt you upload the sd video? It should upload and process as a high quality 1440p video on youtube.

I have no internet, everythinh is via mobile so I just used what was downloaded to the phone. Its just messing about footage.

I tried to get the phantom 3 standard 4k for £549 with free battery on Thursday at jessops glasgow but they would not honor it. Was raging

Raging because jessops rep advised via chat box the offer was extended to 7th (chat log posted on here) and that I drove 25 miles for deal.

So I think that's justified

Ahh, that's a justified reason. You can still get one near the same price, bit extra on top for the second battery.

I unfortunately missed out on this deal, but it has made me want to buy one! anyone know of any similar deals or was this just a one off? second hand prices aren't far off new prices, so would prefer to buy new....

SLRHUT are doing the standard for 425, the advanced for 595 and professional for 695, I would go with either the advanced or professional which has lightbridge. The standard is ok but you will wish you went for the next model up

thanks. I had been looking at slr hut but wasn't sure about warranty and returns etc. are they based in new york? I was thinking of getting a standard to see if I use it much then upgrading to a 4 if I do. decisions decisions!

£150 premium for the advance would be a no brainer. £250 extra would hurt!
