Had a fair few Zavvi orders go by with no issues, but have also had a fair few Zavvi orders with issues including late delivery for preorders (they're a complete mixed bag with it). Personally wouldn't trust them with any preorder which I was wanting to ensure arrived on time. Their customer support is some of the worst. That said, won't vote cold.

Of course not and I agree that their customer service is generally poor when things do go wrong - people should just bear in mind that plenty of orders go through without issue and not automatically rubbish the deal post (which isn't mine). You're of course still free to vote it cold if that's your view.

Yeah, as I said, things do go wrong with some orders with them and I'm sorry that you were one of those disadvantaged as a result - but such orders will still be the minority (albeit resulting in the most vocal of feedback).

I pre-ordered Bloodborne steel book version from them 6-8months before release. Release day came and I still had not received a dispatch email. I patiently waited about 3 days and heard nothing from them. I emailed them and waited another day for that and in their reply they said they don't know when they're getting their stock in or if they'll even have any. Cancelled my order instantly and never used them again. Terrible company imo and that wasn't the first time it had happened. Don't take pre orders for a product if they're not sure they even gonna have it.

Not in the great majority of cases with my orders. I don't dispute that things go wrong with them with a few orders, but plenty of people use them without problems.

Zavvi generally aren't that bad - it's just that in the few cases when things go wrong, they don't do themselves any favours. I'd expect this to arrive in time for release for most orders.
