Just tested this code and it worked for me. I already own one of these (which I use every day and genuinely think these are a great purchase for the money) so didn't proceed with the purchase. Now £136.14

Read it properly and then do Business with a cheat???
Warranty: 3 months (excluding software)
Condition: As new, Manufactured Refurbished - box opened to check the machine is working
Well I've gone from Asus 3 in 1 device to Ipad 4 to Ipad Air to Ipad Mini to Venue 11 i3 twice to Galaxy Tab S to Cheapo Android Tab then back to Ipad with Air 2, then Mini Retina 2 and finally a 64gb Ipad Mini
I've loved my Venue but ended up just not using it, I mainly think down to the fact the thin keyboard cover was a joke.
I've just taken delivery of the 7130 i5 with 8gb and 256ssd for £220. I've bought the folio cover and a Spanish Qwerty Keyboard (the ones with battery). So far I can see that this is getting a lot hotter than the i3's which for me were very cool and that may be a deal breaker (it was doing a lot at the time when hot). I'd like to see if I can tweak it to get what I need. It also has around 15 gig worth of old windows files as they must have upgraded from 8 to 10 which went with a quick cleanup wizard. Takes a 128gb sd card no bother too (this is my issue with ipads as 64gb was never enough for me and can't afford more)
What I would say is if you get one that won't charge at the side (and MSC tell you they will send a charger that fits at the bottom, and to be fair you will get it next day) tell them that you either want a new unit or a refund. If the side charger isn't working then why? I had this with my first unit, no othr issues but sold it on. These are very popular on ebay. .

If it's the ones I've been looking at £169.99 from Think Price... they list them as being "New" but the listing says that they are Refurbished....For that reason alone I would not buy from them.

That's a good price. I would question whether they're "new" though as they stopped making this model over a year ago.

I dont want to be rude on this deal, but i dont think its a great buy, here is why.
I got Dell Venue 11 pro 7130 from MCS deal only.
1. I found that they tamper with the serial number, and makes it very tough as such to download the correct firmware/drivers.
2. The Dell Venue product as such is not good, the back of the product is made with thin back cover, making it look fragile to lift up. When i lift up the display flickers, every time.
3. I bought a dell dock which didn't work with Dell pro i had and doesn't connect to the extra monitor i have, i tried so many firmwares and other options with no help.
4. When i called MCS about these issues, they replied back promptly but they are not willing to change the product, as they say its the product design and suggested me few more drivers and it didn't work though.
5. I then bought a dell keyboard, which doesn't have powersupply with it, but covers the power supply in the pad, making it not usable.
Being a computer engineer myself, if its this much troublesome for me to handle it. I dont think a end user who doesn't have much knowledge would survive.
Please think alot before buying this one.

These throttle hard, so the spec looks good but the performance is poor. A mate at work had the atom version and the i5 and he found the atom to be more consistent due to how quickly the i5 throttled. He mentioned editing the clocks, which improved things.

Will the copper sheet on the back panel help with heating issues as it does on the venue pro 8's?

Read some reviews which say stylus recognition is dodgy which is a shame as I'm looking something portable & capable of running photoshop.

It does, the Dell one.
Make sure you only get the newest version, the old ones were a bit dud.
rev A02 if memory serves.
I have one of these from MCSCOM (bought a couple of years ago) and there were some teething problems with firmware at the time.
Sorted now though. Great tablet, use with the pro keyboard and the dock.
Again, early pro keyboards were flaky - mine is, but it was very cheap from e-bay.
The fans do come on, so whilst not noisy, you can sometimes hear them.
If you don't need anything more than office and browsing, I would possibly get the Atom version as it is a bit thinner and is fanless.
