Same when you ready meals etc, serves two! Rubbish. Barley enough for one!

To be honest I don't think you'll find much that will last more than a few years in our weather conditions. I always use Cuprinol Garden shades, supposed to last 5 years but I need to go over it virtually every year, two at max, (quite easy to go over once you've done it once and it doesn't take that much product to do) When I queried this with Cuprinol they claimed the product will continue to protect the wood for the time stated even thou the appearance may have diminished.
I think it's all down to this water based products that they have moved onto, the solvent based products in my opinion were far superior.

It's rough saw pressure treated, sort of medium brown pine. I bought this knowing what it could be used on. Looking at other reviews on the web, there are many more that are not happy with the colours

Just returned a tin of harvest brown back to Argos. Nothing like the colour on the front. Tested with 2 coats on back of a pine bench and it looked peach not brown! Garbage

that's probably because you tested it on white smooth wood. this is designed for rough sawn like fence panels. I may be wrong.

I had the same result with forest green. its a very light green, almost pastel green, until fully dried when
it turned dark green to match the front label. Always had good results with Ducks back.

This is why I voted Brexit. For oil based paints.

Looks like it's water based... which I normally steer clear of.
Anyone know of it's any good?
depends what you mean by good - its just a surface protection like a paint really
goes on well, covers nicely but its not up to any sort of abrasions

Thought about getting some after seeing it on here not bothering, seems it doesn't last like it says in the tin, plenty of comments it last two and in some cases one year. I had been sure I had seen people give it good reviews last year but this time round there was many with the same complaint.
