Found this 12000mah USB power bank on CPC.
Cheaper than I could find elsewhere, even cheaper than int'l Ebay sellers.

I was a bit skeptical at the price but quality seems good.
Comes with adaptors for old iphone/ipod, microUSB, miniUSB. Came about 85% charged.

Hi all,
With order volumes like we get from HUKD we do unfortunately have stock run out quicker than the site reflects. We have explained in the past but it an easy way to explain it is this - there is one code left, 50 of you order it - we assign it to the fist order that hits our system and the rest unfortunately get a cancellation email. We are sorry about it, we work hard to try and stop it - but it does happen.
Using this code as an example (before someone says "but i ordered with x left") - we sold something like 850 of these in a morning. We have rules in place on high volume orders, new accounts, fraud holds based on some triggers etc. We basically have an element of manual work to clear orders, we do not allocate stock from the web to these orders until we pass these rules - what that means is, you may see 100 left in stock but we may have 120 orders "received" and progressing through. This is not normally an issue, except when we get end of line items being hit with demand.... like happens here.
So, we are sorry, we do our best to be as accurate as possible with stock but it's more likely to happen with HUKD hot products than a typical sale.
Hope that clarifies for everyone - especially those who have been disappointed with this one.

£2.50 Handling Charge for anything under £5 (exl VAT).
The 6,000mAh models supply just over 4,000mAh, which is inline with what the packaging says (it says they can charge a 1,250mAh battery 3 times = 3,750mAh). Very pleased with them so far, especially for the price.

Finally taken it out to see what it is like. I have a galaxy s7 edge went for a walk and had pokemon go running it charged my phone very fast nearly as quick as the quick charger it hasn't gone down on the battery level on the charger at all though but I am very happy with this charger

makes sense mine jumped to 92 percent after the 88 disappeared
spannerzone
21 Jul 16#133
I don't think it is 88 - I think it's analysing the battery and just showing all the LED segments on the display until it's worked out the state of the battery. Mine did this when plugged in then showed 2%

I've just finished testing mine and got 7763mah out of it on its first full charge.. that's with a 2A constant load.. it can't supply 2A though.. I got about 1.7A max.
Not bad for the price about what I'd expect from a no name unit.

Just got mine today, wondering if it's wonky - it said 88 on the display initially but as soon as I plugged it in it said 99 - it's been charging for about 6 hours now and as soon as I take it out of the socket the display goes back to saying 88 again :disappointed:

Got mine today too. So compact and weighty. Nice having the LED display, currently sitting at 85%. Too bad about the charging up rate everyone's been reporting, still, good enough for emergencies if it holds the charge.
Harryisme
18 Jul 16#124
Wow the charge rate on this is really irratic, I went away for 90mins and when I came back both were charged from 8% to 99% maybe even 100 but the lack of the third display it will forever be 99.

I don't know what's going on with mine, though it could be the unit is just slow, it does say 5v 1a for input, so it's going to be slow no matter what charger we use. Good thing I didn't order more than a couple of these, they seem good for an emergancy but for daily use they take too long to fully charge.
To think my nephew complained about the three hours it takes to charge the Mii battery bank I bought him.
Got mine too. Also 88‰ charged. It's been charging for 20 mins, its now 90%. I'm using my tablet charger.

I don't have any issue like that though it seems to be very slow in charging, I've been charging it for over half an hour and so far it's only charged 2%, and even then it charged one percent, then got stuck and only moved further when I unplugged and replugged the charge cable, this is the issue with both batteries I ordered.
I just checked the little instruction manual and it says' charge time upto 17hours...WTF

While I do believe in paying more for better quality, I think I'll order this. I've ordered quite a few Anker items, some batteries, some not and they are decent for the price but I've had issues with 1 of their batteries and my email went unanswered. The battery on my Anker speaker is faulty (quite common looking at reviews). My point is that paying more doesn't guarantee a trouble free experience, just reduces the likelihood of problems. One power bank I do recommend when it's on offer is the VINSIC 20,000mAh model. Very impressed with it.
Thanks ordered two, gonna need the battery as Pokemon Go drinks way too much juice.

I suspect they're made with cheap mass-produced Li-ion cells from China. These are always hit and miss in terms of quality. You could get lucky, you might not. They might last a couple of years, they might last a week. If you fancy a gamble these are maybe worth a punt. For me though I'd rather pay a bit more for some proven reliability.
