Decent deal for a corsair mech.

is this the same model that has the dodgy l.e.ds ?

that's a shame as it looks like a really solid keyboard

I really didn't like the Red keys, too squishy, not nice to type on. Much prefer the browns I've got now on a k70.

Great deal though if anyone likes the red keys, I'd just encourage people to try them first (easier said than done!)

That said at this price it's probably just worth a punt

Better than my Ducky Shine 3 TKL, it's even without the numberpad so less keys to go faulty and it ended up back for 3 warranty repairs in the first 12 months for faulty LEDs (6 in total), only 1 year warrantly too - never again. Keyboard itself is excellent to type on but what's the point in paying for backlit keyboards that simply don't sodding work after a few months!

​Dam that sux, I was going to buy a ducky board too to try the exclusive cherry nature white keys they have, mite give it a miss then.

Glad this is not the MX Blue switches because then I'd have another mech keyboard (to go with my other 3!).

good price for the keyboard but £10.50 delivery is a rip off.

These have a huge issue with LEDs shorting, as none of the LEDs are protected against electrostatic discharge; I know cos I had one.

The RGB model was redesigned, and all the LEDs are shielded.

It's OK, learning languages just takes practice. Which part would you like me to help you with?

For what it's worth I've got a Ducky Shine 4 and never had any issues, been going strong for about a year and a half.

If you're wondering what the main difference is between the K95 and K90, the K95 is 100% mechanical. The K90 has some keys which aren't mechanical i.e. Macro keys.

I have one, and I wouldn't recommend it. Yes it has dodgy LEDs ( I've lost quite a few now in 6 months). Caps lock is also far too easy to enable as you type.

Why are these keyboards so expensive? Wish I'd held onto my old IBM keyboard now...

I'm on Corsair K65 with Reds and looking to change. Does anyone know of a deal on a compact 60% or tenkeyless KB with Browns?

No problems here, on a new model K70 RGB Cherry Red.

I prefer it without the bank of macro keys, and have never accidentally pressed caps lock.

​Yeah, the thing is you think the gaming keys are going to be best for a gaming PC, but it obviously transpires that you use the keyboard for typing all the time! And the reds were just really unpleasant, having no feedback at all was weird and it was so easy to hit the wrong key. Browns are awesome though.

Purchased this almost 2 years ago. Some LEDs went after a around 9 months. Sent it to corsair who replaced it with a k95 rgb

This is a good price but the RRP is a complete lie, mine was £120 from PC world and from Corsair it was between £105-£115 depending where your from.

Not a reds fan myself but this is a fantastic deal.

bough 2 older red mx k95 models and both had led issues within 12 months. sent back to corsair and had a completely shocking experience. eventually got the new k95 with brown keys which are far better (imo). i find corsair products so unreliable but oddly attractive to buy which is why i keep going back. had issues with everything from coolers, cases, 3x a860i psus, keyboards, mice and now even my void headsets. support is poor though but everything else on the market looks junk inc razr etc

I seem to have ended up with a LOT of Corsair items in my new PC

- case
- RAM
- power supply
- keyboard
- mouse
- 7.1 headphones (en route to me now)

No problems with anything so far. Build quality of these items is far superior to competing products I have considered.
