Is it just me? Is this a camping essential? I'm a seasoned camper but never once have I thought man I wish we had a dish drainer with us!

I suppose it's alright for drying things. But you right it's non-essential...I always take a normal bowl and normally fill it with washing stuff anyway so it's not wasted space in the car.
I bought the washing up bowl in store then used it last weekend. Quality seemed great for me. BTW they wasn't with the camping gear in my store (Nelson) they where at the back near the kitchen things. I want to get this too but I'm weary of having too much camping gear. I'll probably buy it anyway lol.

You never know your luck - I ordered mine on Sunday and it was in store by 3pm on the Monday!
