Number of Tesco points earned nose dived back in November 2015 so rewards are pretty pointless these days (pun intended!).
My cash also stopped topping up their cash cow so there loss, my gain I suppose?

If you eat at those chains reasonably often worth considering Taste Card (usually offers for it at £29.99, plus occasionally free for 3 month or recently £1 for 3 month offers).
I also get Gourmet card through my Barclays Premier account, 25% off but includes drinks. Not sure how much the card is otherwise.
Only issue is both usually don't include Fri/Sat, so Tesco vouchers come in handy then. Although on those days I just pick a restaurant that isn't covered by Taste card to mix it up.

Only use Tesco CC vouchers on Fri/Sat in the chains. Too many other offers on midweek so using CC vouchers is a waste.
CC vouchers are very, very useful on Weekends at the chains as the chains are loathe to offer big discounts at weekends

Got loads of nectar points to get through, so it's pizza express for us all summer with the current nectar offer.
When that's finished on 30 sept we'll be back to Tesco CC vouchers. The chains never get boring as we have young kids and they love it

I was waiting and waiting for my May statement to arrive by post as it has done for years, thought I'd check online to see how much I had while waiting, had purchased a pet policy so knew I had a good few more points this qtr.... couldn't believe my eyeballs when I saw MY vouchers worth around £100 had been spent in Tesco stores miles away from where I live! .... some cheeky sticky fingered so and so's had robbed me vouchers and had the balls to spend them  .... always thought you had to show your clubcard when spending vouchers instore? Rang customer services and the fella kept asking was I sure I hadn't been maybe on a day out and spent them! lol
Apparently this is happening loads and I've now changed from getting vouchers sent out in the post to just receiving my qtrly statement online, so keep an eye on your accounts people!
Got the points back and credited onto this month's statement, but god there's some right cheeky ***** around these days! :man:

Yeah happened to me once, moved house forgot to change address and new tenants opened my post and spent them. Tesco refunded them and said I'd get them in my next statement. When I asked about the clubcard being shown they said it doesn't matter most of the time. The new tenants also stole a parcel they signed for in my name had to get police involved and the agency told them to move out, they'd only lived there one week LOL

Same thing happened to me. However it was done online not through the paper vouchers in the post. The only thing that stopped it was changing the online password. Because it kept occurring even after reporting it twice. Think tesco has been hacked in the past as others have had the same issue.

Thanks, didn't realise you could do that now. I never use the paper copies and I always end up tearing them up into little pieces and binning them.

The way you have to enter digits from the clubcard when signing in, isn't much of a security feature if someone has the number. They should enable proper 2FA like sms or google authenticator

yeah it's crap isn't it....and everytime I log in they always ask me for the exact same 3 digits too??!! if boost wasn't so good they could shove their points! :smirk:

the cut off date was 21/7. can someone estimate when the vouchers will be available? going to a theme park in 11 days. tickets are cheaper if bought 10 days in advance. not sure if I should buy the tickets now, or wait for my vouchers to arrive, so I can use solely the vouchers to buy the tickets (fortunately the tickets are issued via email, not post).

Can you make this update online?. I guess sending out vouchers in the post is askin to sending cash through the post!. You wouldn't do it, so why do Tesco.
Bad practice surely?

Hi, I asked if my account could be just managed online whilst on to customer services over the theft of my vouchers, in all fairness the second lady I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and simply noted my preference for receiving my vouchers online in the future
Maybe you can do it online, but at least if you call you can get the advisors name so if anything goes wrong it's on their head!
