Clintons has an 'interesting' financial history. Maybe they're finally realising that nobody in their right mind pays their prices any more. Over 80s apart, perhaps.

That's not bad. While I agree Clinton's are overpriced, their cards are in an entirely different class to others. I purchased a load during their 3 for £1 promotion several years ago - now have enough personal (i.e. Mum & Dad, Partner, Siblings etc...) Christmas cards to last 3 years and save a fortune.

Clinton have been ripping people off for years on the price of their greeting cards. Thank God Card Factory came along and charged us a reliable price for cards .

I went to Wrexham - not on there but the assistant said it is store specific also some including Chester selling cards at half price.

Doncaster branch stated it's not them doing an offer but rotherham branch are supposedly :smiley:

Total waste of time, all of the local stores I checked weren't doing this.

I went into Clintons in Rotherham today and every thing was 90% off
loads of people buying
