fantastic deal on clarks desert boots. regularly buy these at the full £95 but was looking at these last week when they went down to £47.50, didn't take the plunge and then saw they went even lower.
if you've never had a pair I recommend you get some as these last for years.
they also have a light cream pair in sale at the same price.
almost a full size run available at the time of posting so get in there quick.

Jink (basically low top desert) in beeswax £39.50: http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/26106718
A few other Jink styles for £55 in suede (decent colours too)

Sizing runs large...consider ordering a size or half a size down from your usual - my fit in Clark's desert was 7.5 and I'm 9 in Addidas Gazelles, 8.5 in Converse Chuck's.

I did the same, only issue is that if I keep the good fitting out of the box one (9) it might become loose as a sock in time. While 8.5 fits snug and it will break in but not sure how much

I'm struggling with this too. Ordered the 7 and it is a bit on the tight side but dont know if i should change them or not or if after a couple of wears they will be perfect. They certainly have changed the sizing as they used to fit perfectly.

I ordered my usual size plus one down just in case. I found my usual size to be the best fit, and because I had ordered to my nearest store, just told them to return the lower size at no cost.
You need to order a half size or full size down (I needed 1.5 sizes down). They will be too big; I would cancel the order. Women in the shop told me deserts dont fit like any other clarks boots by the way, asked that question a week ago in store, so you cannot go by your sizing in other originals. This is because its basically a single piece of leather sewn onto a flat base.

Have to say, despite the possibly off sizing comments, my size 9's fit as they should...?

I've been wearing desert boots for years and since they were actually made in England ... The quality of these hasn't changed much but prices seem to have been going up all the time ... This is the lowest I've ever seen these being sold anywhere in the world. Originals aren't cheap so this is a great deal. I bought two pairs too :sunglasses:

How do you find the sizing? I got a few other originals (no desert boots) and they've always been a bit snug. I just ordered some Desert boots and went for a half size up, looking at the above comment and a few others on the net regarding the large fit, I'm now a bit worried they'll be too big...

If you have narrow feet then definitely choose a size down and if your feet like mine aren't too thin then half would do even though it's G fitment... I chose 8.5 this time however 8 is usually fine too but I find it when shoes are too snug they lose shape quickly specially these Desert boots.

iN THE RECENT clarks sale I just ordered a brace of shoes, size I want and one below and one above. Then just send back the ones not suitable. The shoes were free to send back of course... I did end up buying three pairs.. sent back the black and white wingtip spats (lOl)

"Following customer feedback, we have changed the fit of our Desert Boot. This style is now a G fit, so we recommend purchasing your usual Clarks size."
Which is no use to me as I haven't bought Clarks in 30 years or so but that might help someone!
HOT HOT HOT tho, these are very reasonably priced right now. As recommended by Anthony Bourdain! Hence I must buy a pair...
EDIT: Super, got some green ones(?!) in a 9.5, let's hope they're all that! Happy tho, been on the lookout for a while, TYVM OP @richwright1!

I bought two pairs of these in the USA for under US$100 last year during a sale. To be honest they are not that great a pair of desert boots.
I much prefer my older Timberland Chukka boots to these, as they are pretty warm (not what you'd want with a desert welly).
Certainly very lightweight but the soles look like they won't be very durable.

Cheapest I've seen these. Not the best of colours but at this price I can live with that!
Don't forget 5% Quidco on these too.

Remember to order one size down from your usual size...I'm a 9 in addidas, 8.5 in converse, and the 8 in clarks were too big for me. Just ordered 7.5, so will see if those fit. (ordered beeswax tho).
Really, the best thing to do is go and try them on in a clarks shop, then order online. The sizing is very strange for deserts.
