Likewise if a spear happens to thrown at your face and you instinctively put your hand up to protect your mush then the spear could hit the watch and be deflected past you.
This watch could save you from an untimely head spearing demise.
Are you willing to take the chance and not buy one ???

I rang them said i was unhappy the watch appeared not new. Offered a new replacement at local store. I said i really liked watched but did not want hassle changing watch over. Offered 10% discount to keep the watch credited to my credit card within 7 days. Happy with that.

Actually I do know !!
Some stores still have display models (which is what I think some of us got) and they are the same price.
Why not phone your local store?

Mine came today, the watch is set to the right time and date but it looks new, no marks or wear anywhere. Absolutely love it! Looks great

Has anyone challenged H Samuel about sending out apparently used watches?

Same here too, seems like a return, but cast my critical eye over the watch cant see any scratches or damage. Looks really nice i will keep it. Good job it was not a present.

I would love one but in the review on their website someone states that it is small than other watches, and with me having massive hands it may just look stupid.

If you fall on your palm and the watch is on your wrist the watch can break the wrist

If it had sapphire glass I'd go for it. Don't need it though and can't afford it, so glad it hasn't!

Who the hell falls on their wrist, apart from your "friend"?! Never done this in my life.

The fact still remains, my friend broke is wrist very very badly by even falling with a smaller rolex watch, your better off with small channel type watches.

Why? It's no bigger than any other men's chronograph watch and it has a titanium case so it's light as a feather.

If you fall on your wrist wearing this, your wrist could snap.

In watchmaking, "perpetual calendar" describes a calendar mechanism that correctly displays the date on the watch 'perpetually', taking into account the different lengths of the months as well as leap days. The internal mechanism will move the dial to the next day.

What does perpetual calendar mean?

I've bought but keeping it depends on if it is a matt finish or a gloss finish.
It appears different depending on which photo / video of the watch you look at.
Hoping its matt.
