Citadel Music Festival - Sunday 17th July

I've just received an email from my Eden Sessions mailing list offering great discount to this years Citadel Festival in Victoria Park this sunday. Reduced from £60.50 (inc fees) to £20 (+ fees)

Note additional £2.75 per order for e-tickets

I've heard Sigur Ros' live show is incredible. Line-up might not be to everyones taste but really is a great price regardless.

I'm not sure how long this deal will last.

I agree on Sigur Ross! Jazzanova dj set will be worth a look in, as will "Lord Sabre" Andrew Weatherall. Tinawiren are very infectious with their so called Bedouin Blues (although, I thought they were more rock than blues when I saw them). GoGo Penguin are well worth checking out as well - great fun!

Good spend of £20 odd quid!

If anyone's as thick as me, this is in London. I was thinking Plymouth initially as Eden was mentioned (close-ish) and there used to be a Prom-style music event at the Royal Citadel! There's also a Victoria Park in Plymouth too!

Sigur Ros are amazing live. Seen them a couple of times now, the first years ago when they supported Radiohead. Was one of the most amazing gigs I've seen

Can anyone help me with a deal to get to London on Sunday from Bournemouth, would be happy to car share obviously would chip-in with fuel, is it cheeky asking?!? Sorry about repeat posting, phone doing its own thing had to sign out & in again! Found fun fares from Bournemouth £5 out £7 return but the last coach back is 11-59pm am thinking that's leaving it tight my luck Caribou playing last & can't leave! Anyways got the ticket now searching continues for travel will check trains but think that will be loads more!

Got tickets before at over £40, should have waited, but worth it for that last year too. Food wasn't great, but hopefully better this time. Also take some ID if you want to buy alcohol, no matter what your age. I got IDed for first time in many many years and another bloke who must have been over fifty didn't have any so couldn't buy a pint off Becks. Stupid really, maybe different this year but worth knowing just in case.
