I was in touch with Google over the issue and asked for the "goodwill gesture", they are now denying that there was any issue with their store and say that Wuaki were incorrect to say that there was an issue and they insist the issue was on my end and deny any goodwill gesture...

Guess what, just had another go and the apply button worked, the only thing I did that was different was to check the postal address and payment details. Good luck to those others.

I've been in contact with both Wuaki and Google today, both companies are saying it's a known issue at Google's end, I was sent an alternative code to use by google late this afternoon but alas this does not work either, I did try and ask for some sort of fast track of obtaining the dongle but the guy says he has to follow procedure. If others have manage to get the "Apply" button to work today can they post here?

It surprised me how quick they replied. That's rubbish that they haven't got back to you. What email did you contact them on. I emailed [email protected]

​I ended up going ahead with the deal anyway and I see what you meant regarding the Apply button not accepting the code. So I emailed Wuaki who replied with the following:

"Google has confirmed that there is a temporary issue with codes redemption in their website.

We are in contact with them to solve it as soon as possible.

Once again we apologize for the inconveniences, and we will inform you when we have more news.

We appreciate your patience and understanding."

So at least they're working on fixing it :smiley:

​My immediate thought if I was you would be to email Google customer service, complain a little bit and literally ask for a gesture of good will. Be nice though :smiley: they might get the code working plus through in something extra as the gesture of good will.

I'm not sure whether the "Apply" button only becomes clickable when you enter a valid code (ie. The codes being sent out are invalid) or whether the Apply button is broken and it is a Google Store issue
