Bought a bottle at Lidl, Tain whilst up here on hols for a few weeks but it's too light and lacks any depth of flavour for me even though it's 5% by Vol.
Would make a good shandy though.
4 pk of Budweiser from Home Bargains next door for £3.69 (?) better value and taste.
First time I've had Budweiser for quite a few years , might take less to see the Northern Lights toi

you have done the right thing, we all need to esacpe to the mountains - the worst is yet to come - the thought of the man known as 'Trump' as Commander-in-Chief of the worlds largest nuclear arsenal.

Don't worry !!! .. After the warnings of falling house prices , losing my job , years of recession , WW3.. And worst of all no more cheap roaming charges on holiday .. I stocked up on cheap beans, pot noodles and shut the blinds . .. How's it going out there ??

Well it has to an extent (currency, economic confidence, political turnover and instability) but resignation of PM and complete cabinet changes aside, you're right. That may also be a byproduct of us not actually having left the EU yet, nor having even given the 2 years notice stated in article 50. Don't worry, the insidious years of recession are still to come.

Umm.. I was making a jokey reference to the absolutely crazy (and awesome) character of Ben Chang from the show 'Community'. Who another poster put up a gif of too. But hey, enjoy jumping to those conclusions!

I can't believe it's nearly been a month and the country hasn't imploded into nothingness, like they told us it would if we left the EU

Oooo 20 stores?! So the man in the ill-fitted suit demanding more lettuce on the top shelf of aisle 3! And you claim, on a site set-up with the sole intention of saving money, that one store is more "****" than another? Bloke Down The Pub just moved up the table....

Not one shop, 20.

With the greatest of respect, all you've said is that you used to be a boss of a shop. Combining that with the statement "I know what I'm talking about" is probably stretching it somewhat.
Boss Of A Shop is probably on a par with Bloke Down The Pub Said in my book

Not the same over here, but as others said far better than Singha. 8 changs and a couple of Samsong buckets and it's game over!!

The main difference here is in Thailand it's a rice beer. Over here it's the imported wheat brew. Tastes similar, doesn't give the same effect!

Love Chang. Was my go to beer when in Thailand. Big bottles and an ice cold glass. Memories! Think this stuff may be the uk brewed stuff like Cobra

Its Chang Beer - then after two or three it's Bang Cheer. Perhaps it's from Keith Lemon's brewery

You have lovely stores like Farnham - all non food affluent types. Then you have stores like Reading which is like shopping in Mogadishu, about as safe too.

Good find although my local store has this in the 21 July to 28 July Taste of Asia Thai promo.
This was the local beer of choice when I went to Thailand and 5% volume as well as being quite a nice drink. Shame it's not the larger bottles.
