This is a bit of an odd one but if anyone is wanting a campervan rental in London to take them to Dublin for example then space ship rentals have some good campers on offer including a free tank of fuel and free ferry for just £1 a day!
There is also something similar for London to Edinburgh in a VW camper too. My friend and her boyfriend are currently driving taking a camper from London to Dublin as she got some open jaw flights from USA that I recommended and it was cheaper than flying and she got the ferry and fuel for free too. This worked well as they are open jaw and returning to London so didn't need a return flight.
It's worth subscribing to the website as you get all sorts of random relocation offers.

This is fairly standard when hiring a vehicle. Usually you will be offered to upgrade the cover to remove/reduce the excess or you can purchase an excess policy independently

From the FAQ: As the hirer you are responsible for the excess (bond) of £1500.
This covers the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, towing and recovery costs, theft of the vehicle, fire, break in or vandalism.

You could fly or take the ferry or any other mode of transport. This may be of particular use if you are doing open jaw flights or don't mind flying back.

Shame it's not the other way around I'd gladly take a camper to London from Dublin
