Bzzz! Incorrect I'm afraid, lose five points. I can offer it to the other side?

disagree. I've tasted far worse pub food. Crown Carvery takes some beating.

obviously every one different. But it's just another pub brand serving the same old 2 for 1 or 2 for a tenner etc. And tbh, the meals struggle to be good value at that price. Some of the rubbish burgers they sell are better than the overpriced steaks, served with a hand full of frozen peas and a dozen frozen McCain chips. I mean, the famous "Yorkshire" sausage or gammon at £9 each-seriously??

Good find op, heat added.
Seems like you can't please everyone though... Even at £1 for a meal people are still turning their noses up. You probably couldn't even buy the ingredients for £1, let alone have them cooked for you, then brought out and served to you at a table.

its the fact youve got to pay £9 or so for its accompanying meal which is the issue. But they're relying on customers like you to not realise this.

Only tried the one at Chafford Essex, worst pub food I've ever had. Unfortunately it has a fantastic kids play area, so we've ended up going about 6 times over the past couple of years. Each time the food is disappointing, but at least the kids are entertained.

Trust me when I say, ask to look at the kitchen canopy and grills before eating in any Brewers Fayre!!!

I realise that, I also realise that £10 for 2 main meals is good value.
I also realise that there's a lot of whinging people on here.

No sense in criticising the food when there are so many outlets all over the country. Yours may be no good, others will be OK.
We often eat at our local Brewers Fayre for cheapness or convenience and rarely have genuine cause for complaint.
