I pay a fiver for a pint of beer and consider that normal - in zone 6 (within sight of the M25) we consider £350,000 for a 2 bed flat to be a good price .....
we need cheap holidays - we can't afford to pay any more

Congratulations to you. You must be a search genius. With time on your hands. Personally I didn't want to take the time off work / mid-week so only looked at weekends.

what a pile of snash. They want to make it an adults only deal. the liability costs for kids is higher. There are plenty deals that get cheaper adding kids. orlando etc. do i winge that i need to pay more for that for not having a child no...a few of the hotels being offered arent even lod.friendly wbich proves my point. calm down . its all aboit demographics and they wamt to aim at couples not kids no need to go tonto about it =)

I just got a holiday to Madrid leaving Heathrow at 10am on Wednesday and arriving back at 10pm on Friday. Hardly one day, is it?

BA are DISCRIMINATING against kids basically, they don't want to take the responsibility for kids in case anything goes wrong. Absolutely shameful! Why do two people who are actually heavier and bigger in size are probably more inclined to drink and go crazy get to be charged LESS than a small kid who is smaller in size and weight, not costing the airline more in fuel and more than likely to be well behaved be charged MORE??? When i called BA who i got through literally after 1 hour of wait, they told me that this deal is only for 2 adults and if you include a child then the cost goes to £187 per person even though they charge full adult price for kids, i asked them well why not then £99 for the kids as well, they had no real response to that other than this is the deal. Obviously we did not book then and im sure a LOT of families will not book who have any kids, nobody wants to leave their kids at home to enjoy themselves alone! Shame on you BA!

I don't understand what's the issue with making this a deal for families. They will get far more uptake if an extra child could go for an adjusted price. In any case they've lost at least two trips from me as well as another hukd member as pointed above.

This deal is only for couples not for a FAMILY

Tried booking a "£99" deal to Milan for two along with a 3 year old child and the price went upto £153pp. How can they justify charging £250 extra for 1 child even though I get the same room? Called up BA and they said "you can get the £99 for two however you will have to leave your child at home or with someone else". What silly advice from BA. Hope they can fix this and not discriminate against families like this. :-(

Sometimes with BA if you add 3 days it can bring the price down.

Yes, I gather... still, can only vote on a deal as you find it, in the same way you can't vote on an expired deal.

Sorry but had to vote cold as it's not really two days at all. It's arrive late on day 1 and leave early on day 3. Shame, disappointed.

Sadly a stay in Rome for "2 nights" means getting there at midnight and leaving by lunchtime on the 3rd day, so essentially only a day in Rome and one night. Not really much point in having a hotel as can do that via EasyJet in a day for less. BA Customer Service has gone down the pan anyway, so no real desire to waste money with them. Why on earth BA double the price per person when you book with two children is also beyond me. I wonder whether two separate bookings would work at the original price.

Tried a few bookings for Venice and Milan on both flight times meant you only had one day in the city and the hotels very far from the centre

Due to availability, the advertised price of £99.00{1} is no longer available on these dates. The best available price for these dates is now £194.00{1}.

Good deals if there are only 2 of you. For some reason the price shoots up if there are 3 of you. I understand that you might need 2 rooms but the prices I checked more than doubled per person if you entered a 3rd person on to the booking and, whilst you may need to double the number of rooms, you certainly don't need to double the number of flights.
