You should be able to access the deal just now using these codes:

I have just book a break in October, using these codes.

A few doubts, if someone could pls help us?
1. Do you guys know how much those service charges tend to be?
2. We've never used any of these parks. Regarding the 'entertainment passes', are they just used for swimming pool activities or do some of the parks have something else?
We've just celebrated the 3y old of our toddler, are any of the activities worth for her?
3. On a similar note, we were trying to find something around New Forest (Hampshire) but this site doesn't seem to have much. Do you know any other good site to book affordable camping pitches, lodges, cabins or caravans?
Our idea is to travel by car and stay there for a couple of days...
Thanks.

Thanks booked both Butlins Skegness and Bognor Regis for £43 each with no extras and also a haven in Norfolk £43 with no extras.
We go on these a few times a year and always enjoy them. Butlins is especially brilliant for the price. Thanks

5 Jul 16#20
There is only 1 date this year at Butlins with no extra charges . Every other date has £12 per night service charge and £15 per person entertainment passes - so £96 extra for a weekend for 4 people on top of the £51 ( £12 each plus booking fee ) price shown on the breakfree site.
I don't know where you have got the £43 price from ! !

I tried a few times but not sure if I'm not doing something correctly but I never saw a detail or prices for service charges or activity passes during the booking process...
Does that mean that both are included if they're not appearing? or is it a charge/service that one has to buy and pay when onsite?
On that note, what kind of activities are usually included with those activity passes? I can think of swimming pools, but anything other than that?
Thanks.

Might sound a silly question but I have never done one of these before. If I book Butlins for 3 nights, 4 people - £71. Can/Who do I ring to try and upgrade? And if I do upgrade then will I have to pay the entire difference for an upgrade? Or do they upgrade at a reduced cost? Any help appreciated...

5 Jul 16#29
Once you enter the passwords and go to the search page just scroll below and you will find tabs for service charges of the park you want and also a tab for free service charges and passes dates. Also one you have selected your holiday and put in your details, you will see on the payment page, left side of the screen givinf breakdown of additional charges. The park sends you an invoice home with those charges and you have to pay them either online or by phone. What I have done in the past is, once I book the holiday I call the park and tell them to remove the entertainment passes from the invoice and only pay for the service charge. To be honest they always hand in the passes with caravan keys on all the holidays we have gone without paying. The passes are totally useless, most of the parks never check. Nothing is included in those passes accept entry into the arcade area. All activities need to be paid for separately. Just a money making gimmick they employ!

5 Jul 16#30
You need to ring the park and you can haggle. We usually get free upgrades as a wow factor if we go off-peak(apart from summer holidays)

Does anyone know the difference between standard /standard plus etc with the Haven caravans?
Had a horrible experience at Sandylands earlier this year when it was freezing and only a tiny wee fire to heat the whole caravan....never want to experience that again so what is the lowest standard that has Central heating?

5 Jul 16#38
to answer a few questions:
you can't book to take pets ( some parks may let you take pets in basic accomodation but there is no way of knowing which parks and which accomodation - so safest to consider no pets on this deal )
Not all parks are available on all dates - if it does not come up its not available , Butlins books up quickly as do popular parks and dates.
There are extra charges on nearly all parks - don't think the price shown is the total cost. The parks themselves will bill you for the service charge and entertainment passes. They often try to add linen on at a charge too.. So check the extra costs before booking on the park details

sheenangel
5 Jul 16#44
I can't work out the price either. It says £10pp then the end price is £43 but it says the park will invoice me £44.97 directly. So have I paid about £45 or about £90?
meem
5 Jul 161#45
it depends on the park, havens standard caravans are much better than park resorts. Whichever park you decide to go, its best to google the parks main site and see the description of the accommodation classifications. Usually the picture gallery will suffice in differentiating. The main difference is the size of the caravan and the decorum.
tizzlah
5 Jul 16#46
Are there autumn dates?
meem
5 Jul 16#47
Yes the park will incloice you the 44.97 separately which includes the service charges per night and the entertainment passes which are optional. This amount needs to be paid directly to the park before the holiday.

Silly question perhaps, please no silly answers, but always used sun hols, not sure whether to wait a week to book with the sun.....
Are these effectively the same as booking with the sun hols, or will i get a worse deal/caravan ?
meem
9 Jul 16#79
Never used sun holidays as it seems such a hassle when breakfree can be booked straight away online. i actually thought sun holidays had worse caravans :O.... don't know the truth. But all my breakfree ones have been great usually with free upgrades in april and october.
Could they ask for those vouchers upon checking in if it's booked online?
Thanks. Do you mean if one wants to go to the swimming pool for example, you need to pay extra for that?
And apart from swimming pool, what other activities could one do/access with those entertainment passes?
meem
10 Jul 16#81
Depends on the holiday park, some parks have free swimming pool for guests staying and some take £3-5pp. All other activities like mini golf and arcade games have to be paid individually. At lakeland and skegness they gave us entertainment passes when we checked in, even though we didn't pay for them. Also, no one ever asked for them during our stay. Worse case if you do find out you need passes for certain things once you are there, you can always buy them at the park.
I have been 5 times in the past 3 yrs, lake district twice, skegness, kent and clacton on sea. They never ask for vouchers. If they ever will in the future I will tell them the truth and I am sure they won't bother. Really good customer service.
