Removable battery and 2 Sims + SD is a massive plus.

Just received it. So far so good.
Only niggles, large bezel, a bit chunky, Apex launcher not working correctly, can't find camera setting for SD storage. GPS seems fine. Signal strength good. Haven't tried Pokemon go yet!

Horses for courses really.
You can use a two SIMs and a MicroSD card on the Redmi 3 if you have a pair of scissors and know what you're quality.
These Xiaomi phones never seem to break down. The build quality is pretty amazing, even more so when you take into account the price. Get a £1 tempered screen protector to protect the screen and you're covered. Replacement parts are also readily available and pretty cheap.

Following this thread, bought a doogee x5 Pro which seems to be cheaper but doesn't seem to be much worse in performance when compared to my xperia z3 after 1 day's use.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro (3gb/32gb) is the best 5" phone you can get for around £100 (unless you're on a non-compatible 4G network).

Anyone know if the gps issue is a common one or just isolated? Very tempted to try one of these.

Hey folks
Just to let you all know that i owned this phone for a week and i have just sent it back to Amazon.
There is a major flaw with the GPS on this phone, it is very poor and constantly drops so its next to useless when using google maps and i'm out on the road a lot so this was a no-go.
Other than that the phone is amazing for the money. Ticks every single box for a budget android phone that works like a mid-range phone.
If only the GPS worked! In this day and age no smartphone should have GPS issues. I did email BLU but have had nothing back so chances are it'll never be fixed.
I have just ordered a 3rd Gen Moto G 16GB to replace the BLU. It cost £15 more but worth it for working GPS
Even my nasty ZTE Blade S6 has no issues with GPS.
ps. if you can put up with the GPS issues then there is no better phone for the money imo.

I would like to know if this is any good. I recently got a Moto G 3 but the "ghost touch" problem is super annoying and i'm already thinking of getting rid of it

Reasonable compared to the US price, pity we don't get the similar advert ones which would make it nearer £50. Does work on all UK 4g bands though.
Not much else with 2gb ram and 16gb storage around this price anyway. P8 lite on vodafone and the obligatory mention of the big screen Smart Ultra 6 with 1080p screen.
