As a hard core fan of the world of Rapture from the first two games I was pretty upset with the look and tone of Infinite when it came out. So much so I put off buying it and forgot about it. It wasnt until I picked up a cheap digital copy on the PS3 and played I realised what a fool I had been to not give it a go. A truly amazing game and almost the equal in atmosphere and originality of the first game. Not many games make me cry (Final Fantasy VII being one of the few others) but Infinite is one of them. Also it has some of the best solo DLC I have ever bought. Burial at Sea is awesome and takes you back to Rapture before its fall.

I'm in two minds about this game. I played the first one to death, the second i haven't played and I think I'm one of those freaks that thought Infinite was all hype and no substance. I can usually tell a very good game from a poor/mediocre/good game even if it's not my type of game at all, but Infinite just never struck me as this amazing game it was made out to be.

Didn't even know this existed! Great deal, especially for those who haven't played some/ all of them.

I would say infinite had some great moments from a story telling view, however, the actual gameplay combat, I think could have been better refined. I can forgive its flaws because the concept takes games to new aspirational levels in terms of an art form.

Totally agree. Loved 1 and 2, was disappointed when I started infinite seeing it was different. By the end I've realised it's the best of the 3, even though I somehow feel like I don't want that to be true.
