Does anyone know when the 3 for 2 is on again please

I've nearly done that for profit before, never found quite a safe enough deal. There's blatantly opportunity there though. Big night be the way to go on popular Lego. If only we knew an employee to corrupt.

also, got my son to collect two items last week and he paid a higher price than i reserved them for.i took them back and they refunded the difference so they do still honor the price you reserve it at if it is lower.i had no problem at all getting the price difference back.hth

remember amazon drop some prices to take into account 3 for 2. personally buy from amazon instead of hunting for a good deal to get your value for money on 3 for 2

22 Jul 161#49
In normal circumstances they WILL honour the reserved price - it's in their t&c's. I just wondered if the same would apply when it's 3 for 2??

22 Jul 16#43
Argos have put there prices up overnight. Any ideas if Argos will honour the lower prices instore (for items reserved yesterday) as part of the 3 for 2?
tamlyndouglas to 863luke
22 Jul 16#48
No they don't unfortunately, they stopped honouring the lower prices of reserved items a while ago - they put posters up in stores telling customers they charge you the price the item is when you go to collect it

I got Argos to price match AND 3-4-2 last year when they did a 3-4-2.
Price match T&C is a dead policy set on paper, but you my friend, is an alive human being. So use your head and charm!

It is working but NOT for any toys that have even been slightly reduced. Just seems to be full price toys only

Price match is exempt from 3 for 2. They would divide the basket up to reach the cheapest price, I already asked today instore. Read the price match T&C's below:
Products sold as part of a multi-buy, discounted or with a free item, will be matched to the cheapest price of each item when sold individually.

Would they price match first and then get the cheapest free? Too good to be true. 1 month ago when I try to price match toys at Hammersmith, none of the staff know anything about toy promise and I had to show them online.
good
21 Jul 16#36
dont forget to first price match AND THEN ALSO get the 3 for 2
I'm after these too! You can probably forget reserving them as I tried and they give me a collect date of the 25th (is the deal over then?). Shows delivery in 3 days, but their delivery service is rubbish... What with the use of 3 stickers, packing in plastic bags and delivery drivers that don't give a damn and seem to have play "keepy uppy" with the parcels by the time they get to you... Might order 9 and hope 3 of them arrive in decent condition and return 6...

21 Jul 16#32
Choose three the same or three different, it is up to you. Try to make them all the same price (or close) though as the cheapest of the 3 will be free. Whatever you do don't choose two at £24.99 and one at £4.99 for example!

Anyone know any good buys that will make a profit on ebay? E.g. buy 3 items at £50, sell at £45 on ebay making £135 in total from a £100 outlay. Obviously ebay and paypal fees would need to be accounted for too eating into any profit.

how does offers such as 2 for £20 work if toys are 3 for 2??
greedygarfield to PJ2015
21 Jul 16#23
You'll only get one of the offers, you cant group both together..usually the 3for2 works out better value but the tills automatically decide on the best deal i think.

presumably there's nothing to stop you reserving now and paying the 3 for 2 price when you collect tomorrow?

No limit on price from my experience. I bought R2-D2, Star Destroyer and an At-At a couple of years back and got the At-At for free.

It looks like it will be given there's a Lego superman in the banner image. If so, is there ever a limit on the price of the set that is eligible? I'm tempted to go big and buy 3 of a set then sell 2 on eBay making back most of my outlay.
