Way to side step any responsibility for how stupid your posts are. I love this place too - I wish people would use it properly.
You don't comment on a deal for something that costs £125 suggesting you could get something better for £200. Everybody already knows this. Do you wander around pointing out the sky is blue, or that you have 2 ears?
Then to follow it up with 'a more expensive monitor will cost less because it will increase productivity'... There are no words that could fully describe the ridiculousness of that statement. Most people would realise they had peaked long ago in their contributions to the thread and left it at that - but no, you chose to highlight the fact you cannot grasp the concept of using an example or extrapolation to make a point. Well done.

No rule, just common sense. "Don't buy that Mini - You can get a much better car for an extra £10k"
As for 'the more expensive monitor will increase productivity'... Good one, I like a good laugh to round off the weekend!

Is there a rule that recommendations must be within a certain range of the original price? For work at least, the more expensive monitor will increase productivity (assuming you have computer skills over grandma level) and is therefore less expensive than the lower resolution screen in the long term. Happy to help.

People who have generally do not use an IPS panel. TN is better for gaming so decent price. Think 1080p at 27" maybe pushing it too far but that is person specific

TN panel and 1080p... don't waste your time. Spend a little more for something that your eyes spend hours staring at.
£200 get you a far superior IPS 27" 2560x1440 monitor:
Yeah great, recommend an alternative that's 60% more expensive.

I would buy from amazon as well. That's where I got my 4k monitor from. Plus they gave me a nice £90 off as they lost my first one in the post! Can't beat Amazon customer service.

They price matched CCL computers. If you buy from CCL you'll actually get it a little cheaper with a massive 1% quidco cashback :laughing:
Maybe there's also a discount code floating about.
I picked up an AOC 4k 28 inch the other week and am very impressed with it. Came with a nice calibration sheet showing how it had been set up and tested at multiple points on the screen.
