I want to respond directly to your ignorant comment. I started losing my hair when I was 18, it affected me very badly, I sought the best treatment, and I did take Finasteride and Minoxidil. Read the horror stories about Finasteride on forums and also about its effects on Wikipedia.
My comments serve to inform. I know a great deal about this subject and if you listen to me I can avoid you financial pain and worse detrimental effects to your health.
I know your pain, but if you knew you'll wish you never knew the pain it cost me in trying to treat this condition.
You have only one life, going bald is part of life for many people, accept it otherwise you'll cause yourself more trouble than it's worth.
There's nothing wrong with going bald, it's the inner person and your confidence that really matters.
Just listen to me please. Live your life and accept what you can't change.

It has no effect on hair whatsoever, don't waste your money.

Post Finasteride Syndrome is a true horror story. It is effectively untreatable and irreversible too. Doesn't affect very many users, but as the trigger isn't known, it's really Russian roulette.

In 20+ years of research I've never seen concrete evidence that it's worked significantly for anyone. Even anecdotal evidence is scarce, and that's impossible to trust anyway.
If you want to slow down hair loss then Minoxidil and Finasteride work, but possibly at a cost to your health eventually.

I have lost my hair! That's why I know so much about this subject, I researched it to death and took the medication. I now have worse problems than when I started. There is no cure once you accept that then you won't make the mistakes I did.
There is no cure for genetic baldness yet. You can only slow down the process.

Actually, there is some evidence that ketoconazole is effective in combatting hair loss. Try serarching pupmed for yourself and make your own conclusions from that. Ketoconazone is thought to work through local anti-DHT properties. Here's one paper
Grow bald gracefully - very cost effective as you will never need to buy hair shampoo again.

Ketaconazole is not a proven treatment!
The theory of baldness is that DHT causes genetically susceptibile hair follicles to be attacked by the bodies own immune system. To combat this conversion of testosterone can be reduced/blocked by inhibiting the enzyme 5 alpha reductase, there are two types of this enzyme, Finasteride inhibits type I, Dutasteride inhibits both types. Minoxidil is thought to work by increasing/affecting Nitric Oxide.
The exact processes behind baldness are not completely understood.
The only hope you have for your hair is Minoxidil and either Finasteride or Dutasteride.
ALL other treatments are completely unproven. Ketaconazole and Fo-Ti have been mentioned as treatments for 20+ years without significant proven effect. Even the best treatments rarely regrow hair. Current treatment seeks to slow down hair loss. Whatever you use, you eventually will lose the hair, just over a longer period of time.

Fo Ti absolutely does not cure or treat baldness. Please do not listen to this advice. The only two proven products to treat baldness are Minoxidil and Finasteride. Dutasteride is a more powerful version of Finasteride. If you're going bald you can use those two treatments, there's nothing else apart from hair transplants, which give limited results.
There is no current cure for baldness. This is fact.

Hair loss and impending baldness is better tackled by investing in a good quality hairbrush with stiff bristles and simply brushing one's hair at night. Forty strokes (ten left, right, back and forth) will remove the debris of dandruff and increase blood flow to the scalp.
Also do bear in mind that the scalp takes longer to warm up under the shower so don't raise the temperature when washing hair but keep it mild. Caffeine is best left with coffee not on one's scalp

Does nothing for hair loss but is a decent shampoo for the money. In my experience it stops dandruff better most anti-dandruff shampoos.

It is meant to have stress relieving properties so it would theoretically prevent greying and hair loss.

I thought Fo-Ti supplement was supposed to turn your greys black, not read anything about it regrowing hair.
Because taking a potentially toxic substance that can cause liver damage with no evidence for its effectiveness on the basis of "it worked for my mate" is always a good idea.

Teens should use this stuff way before they start receding or balding. So that their excess testosterone doesnt get into the roots in the first place

I've tried the red bottle version of this a while back and it was a good shampoo but doesn't really help with hair loss. I switched to Regenepure DR and NT and that's reduced shedding a lot. I'm not sure it helps regrowth a great deal but I'm happy enough with it to keep using it. Expensive for a shampoo but it goes a long way

Well, it has same ketoconazole as Nizoral has and no other useful stuff in it. Waste of money, unless ketoconazole helps.

Waste of time. If you're losing hair then using this simply slows the process down slightly.
If it's obvious that you're receding alot then save yourself time, money and embarrassment and shave it off.

Decent product, I use this every other day and will buy some here.
Only comment really is the deal states £4.39 but one is £4.67 or 2 are £8.78 so the title price is incorrect.
