Can't go wrong at this price - plus, you own it outside of PS+ - if you should ever end your subscription. It's the kind of game you might want to go back to a couple of years down the line to try another character out.

The clip size is fine and I use SMG with mods - no problem... secondary, Plasma Shotgun with 5 shots before reload - its all down to timing and the Shotgun especially clears whole mobs if you time it correctly. If the clip size were too expansive it would tip the balance and take away much of the challenge.

I am a fairly skilled player in these styles of games so haven't found it much of a challenge on medium settings.

I don't think we have "gushed" on the thread, as the game is incredibly well designed & praiseworthy, "gushing" usually denotes a biased & blinkered level of praise.

I can understand your point of view. Resogun was virtually perfect. This doesn't have quite the same level of perfection, but it's also not even a similar type of game. If your looking for a Resogun sequel I think Matterfall is more likely to the one?

The co-op in Alienation is fun in a way that Resogun never could be. I'm not for a minute saying Resogun co-op isn't fun, it's just an entirely different animal.

It did get a little annoying running out of ammo at first. But it really just requires a little planning. You still have a melee attack, if you're playing solo you need to use it more. If you're playing multiplayer, you will very rarely run into the ammo problem at all.

Very good, but can be quite tricky in places and takes a bit of perseverance. It's the kind of game that flows really well, even playing with random strangers. You do have to play it solo to get all the trophies though (I think).
