I know, I was being sarcastic.
I just find it odd that mods don't spam RRP deals, or at least change the title.

Is it really 70cl? I only ask because Lidl's "Jeeves", at the same price, is 1l.

Does it have a name, or does it say “Aldi's version of Pimms" on the bottle?
What size?

Hi
Its called 'Austin's' 70cl and is wine based where Pimm's No 1 cup is gin based.

Its cheaper cause its lower in alcohol

With that logic a bottle of water should be about 50 quid.

Lidl's "Jeeves" is 17.5%; Pimm's is 25%. If the only difference were the alcohol content, that would make a litre of Pimm's £8.30. The other ingredients are apparently not the same, but another difference is that you're not paying for the own-brands to be advertised on TV and everywhere else.

I haven't tried the Aldi strawberry version, but having made the mistake of buying strawberry Pimms recently, it sounds like they've accurately copied it.
(I do quite like the Aldi original compared with Pimms original. But with tonic water rather than lemonade. It's a matter of personal taste though.)

A street drinkers favourite. Cheap with a hint of chemical.

hmm - not a patch on the real stuff, but with enough lemonade and fruit to disguise the flavour - it'll do..!

I don't think it's Aldis own brand. It's nice thou

Thanks for the heads up! I'll steer clear then haha. I usually put a strawberry daiquiri ice cocktail in my pimms for the ice and extra flavour. More alcohol content though so I can only manage a few

It's not even close to the real thing, I bought for my wife and after trying it she poored it down the sink.

Always £5.99 and I'd suggest it's nicer than the original!
Hot.

Been this price for at least 3 years. Lidls one is ok but this ones nicer.
In a proper Pimms style punch you won't tell the difference to be honest with all the lemonade and fruit.

Just for the record---- tastes nothing like original pimms. If you like the cheaper version, fine but if you're expecting the same thing you will be very disappointed. Whatever floats your boat!

They now do a strawberry version, spotted last week in Dover aldi. Have to admit having it side by side against pimms it's a poor competitor, but isn't bad enough to not drink. I think the key is what you mix it with which makes these taste so nice. Would be interested to try the strawberry version though as my pimms one is almost out!

Much nicer than LIDL's version, which I had the misfortune of buying the other week. It's absolutely foul. I prefer this to the original PIMM'S.
