All the team GB gear is decent quality, it doesn't claim to be top of the range stuff. decent stuff, affordable prices. what's not to like?

What a bunch of miseries those who have commented so far seem to be. I'll bet most of them have never been into an Aldi shop. However, when they read this they'll suddenly claim to be a regular visitor ! I've bought cycling stuff from Aldi and naturally Lidl as well. I'm still regularly knocking out good times and wattage output to be proud of. And no I'm not Tony Martin currently riding in the Tour de France. The only possible problem that I can recall is having an 'cyclist' expert who was in the shop at the same time deriding the quality, when all he did was walk past the counter pushing a trolley piled high with all other products. The cause of these ludicrous remarks will probably be the fact that you don't have to break the Bank so as to look like a high flyer.

I'd need to strap an engine to my carbon frame to do that jersey any kind of justice!

I believe the one that fits in the downtube is more subtle...

For once I didn't rush to grab something at an Aldi cycling event. I'm sure the kit will be good quality as usual but it just looks terrible and my average speed will not live up Olympic standards.

You need a carbon bike complete with carbon water bottle holders....so I have been told....:stuck_out_tongue:
The jacket seems okay; tried one on and have purchased

The equivalent of a can of coke with the olympics logo on it.
These are Officially licensed products for team GB.

I never seem to find these kinds of deals in Aldi in the North East. Such a shame as this looks really good value. I'm not sure it's 'official' in the sense of replica kit the team wears, that's on the TeamGB website at £70 an item. It should still be high quality though!

I always find plenty of Special Deals stock in Yarm, or if you're 'North of the wall' then Ashington has lots in (just bought some there)
