It's just a standard cheap ball with a paint job though. The real one doesn't have stitching, and is £53 on the Adidas site.

Those will be the ones that burst if you kick them too hard.
There's a reason why balls have been stitched for over a hundred years.

correct. the "top glider" is the cheapo lookalike of a match ball

I though the real ones did have stitching and then a sealant is then applied on top of this, what makes you say they don't?

does this have the 'magical float' feature that seems to be fitted to the ball on the TV? Or if you are English will go nowhere near the opponents goal?
It's thermally bonded, the panels are welded on. It makes it much lighter and a much smoother surface, which is why it seems to fly around so much. I think all WC/Euro balls since 2006 have been made this way.

I'm the same, dispached on Thursday and no delivery yet, email has been sent to Amazon. I await their response -
"I'm sorry but there has been a problem with your order........."
I can foresee some free Prime in my future.
PS Should be getting a month free anyway as it's already 'late'!

I've been a **** with this tbh, the delivery date is Friday 15TH July, although quite why anything should take 8 days to be delivered by Royal Mail, I have no idea.
I think the postman is walking from Gibraltar.
Opening post
Nice red for Wales too
