He said compare without monitor, do people seriously struggle to read?
I'd go for the AMD tho, CPU isn't much diff for basic desktop usage. That edition of intel s are fairly crappy

Right, I'm already aware that my phone is possibly more powerful than this. BUT, if I have no intention of playing modern games on this, more yesteryear games ie Portal, Amnesia, Etc etc. Would this be good enough for that? I've seen the numbers and figures, but not being a PC gamer for years, I'm just not sure. Many thanks for any advice. Again, not bothered about playing anything in the last 5 years, but anything prior to that, I'm cool and happy with. Basically, a machine to play my nostalgia on. Much thanks

Most smartphones are quad core but they wouldn’t make good desktop CPUs.
Don’t be flattered by the maximum performance of a quad core as general Windows performance is more related to single and dual core performance so they can flatter to deceive.
“The AMD E2-6110 is a mobile quad-core SoC (codenamed "Beema") for entry-level devices and subnotebooks, which has been presented in April 2014. In addition to 4 CPU cores clocked at up to 1.5 GHz (no boost), the 28 nanometer chip also integrates a Radeon R2 GPU, a single-channel DDR3L-1600 memory controller “
So this is a low end CPU aimed at cheap laptops and basic desktops and its speed for everyday activities is entry level. Think Intel Atom quad core but using more power and probably better graphics.
OP .. there's no mention in the ebay Description anywhere!, as to if the AMD 1.5GHz CPU in the ACER Desktop PC either is Single-Core?, Dual-Core?, or whatever?. :-(
What gives ..... thanx.

If only there was a place where you could find all this info....hmm..maybe I should start a company called google.
No of Cores: 4 (quad core). This CPU is only good for browsing / light office work.

Thanx anyway.
Ps.
I'd have assumed it had MORE power than just light Web Browsing alone? (the fact that it has 4-Cores and all?), right?, or ..... :-)
How does this Intel one compare without the monitor at 127.49?
