Great price for a 27" but if you do any sort of gaming I'd say look for a g/free-sync monitor

All down to demand and supply - I paid £50 for a 2TB HDD back in 2010, today you would actually pay more !

Currently using an AOC 1080P 27" screen. Definitely wouldn't buy 1080p again at this screen size (not that I bought this one; it was a freebie)
It's just too grainy - especially if you are using the screen close up. I would sooner have my older Dell 24" 1080P monitor....

I have had the acer s272hl for around 4 months and have to say it is fantastic. I don't agree with the comments that a 1080p screen is grainy at 27 inch. I use it for both work and call of duty and sit about 2 feet from the screen. Never had a problem with resolution although I appreciate opinions differ. Never had an issue with lag either.
I was in two minds as to whether 24 inch would be more suitable but really glad I went for 27 inch. For the price this is a good deal.

1080p on a 27" screen is usable....but it isn't as crisp as on a 24" screen - and to my eyes, just isn't as nice. It IS useful for full screen video though - which is something I do a fair bit.
I guess it depends on your usage - but I would personally favour a 24" 1080p, or a higher resolution for anything above that

I'd be happy with 1920x1200. Is this down due to clearing or are we getting decent ips screens coming? Not seen any pc monitor announcements.

can we watch movies in 27 inch without uncrisp in pixels..?
how to connect laptop to monitor without hdmi cable....
can it has Dvd drive....?
Can it have volume for music...?

Unless you are watching 4K content, otherwise for watching movies on a higher res monitor won't make it look better, due to the source/media itself still being only 1080p.

In Pane Switching. Gives really wide viewing angles, almost like looking at paper. I just bought an AOC 25 inch 2560 X 1440 QHD IPS monitor at £229 and it's a cracker.

Come on amazon and price match. I refuse to buy anything from Ebuyer.

Not a bad price but you're probably better off considering an UHD monitor or a 120/144hz model. This probably isn't worth buying unless you don't care about those things and you really need a new monitor

I use mine. 2 or 3ms response time is more than good enough for gaming. You never see the difference.

Have 25" version great screens. Borders are about as wide as USB plug when stacked together side by side.
Just beware a lot of them ship with fake power adapters even from Amazon & Scan.
