In store only , found in Chelmsford,Wilkinsons, colours there were dark purple, blue, red, pink, yellow. Also suitable as picture frames , especially for students Uni rooms . Able to stand on shelf, or two hinged picture hook hangings on the back. Not sure how much these were originally, but a bargain at 50p each. Also some very nice silver frames, large ones at £2 each.

Why one earth would you frame your GCSE's! even my uni degree certificate is just chucked in some drawer! But good price for a frame.

If you get straight A's I'd say that's worth framing. It's probably academically equivalent to a national level sporting achievement which I'm sure many sports people frame.

I didn't even keep mine... No job ever asked for proof and I ended up with much better grades as a result...

I could understand undergrad, postgrad, doctorate etc to keep undamaged and to show off a milestone in your life but GCSE's? Lol!
They are massively important when you're at that point but as you get older, more qualified, more experienced not so much.

Buy one now for the teenager and then change the certificate to display as you gain more senior qualifications. I think you are analysing this too much

GCSE and A-Level certificates are awful to look at compared to a degree but each to their own. Good idea about upgrading though.

Hahahahha what kind of a loser frames GCSEs? Even framing A levels is sad.

I would actually advise people NOT to put them on display in a picture frame.....
Because over time they will fade, and if you need new ones, they do cost quite a bit.
Just to say many employers these days (especially Councils, Schools and even Unis) insist on seeing the ORIGINAL certificates.
My daughter got a degree, and then she went straight on to do a PGCE - and they still wanted her to produce all her GCSEs and A level certificates again, even though it was the same Uni where she had just completed her degree - and they had already seen them before she started her degree PLUS the Uni must have had official notification from UCAS about her school qualifications !!

To be fair , I bought mine for my son to frame a picture his girlfriend had drawn for him. Frame whatever you want at 50p , suggesting framing exam results was meant to be light hearted, but nice to see how far you guys ran with it  My kids exam certificates are in folders as they need to show the originals almost every time they apply for part time jobs, go to interviews etc.
Framing my HIV test results. The doctor was really sweet and gave my blood a +

It might be worth investing in some Tipp-Ex & a magic marker before framing your exam certificates.

Or even A levels. Insignificant qualifications.

That's a bit harsh on everyone waiting to see if they have got the grades for their Uni places. Do I detect the words of someone who has none? :man:

They are insignificant after Uni. That's what I meant. So no point framing them. I have plenty of insignificant qualifications.

More like gaming the system. Children should get a sample of more and focus on less. If someone gets straight As they've either wasted their time on the pointless(to them) subjects or are terribly held back in their better subjects.

Whilst I'm waiting for my "exam certificates" to arrive from eBay, I was thinking of printing off some of the millions of photos I have and put them on display. How many others do that nowadays??
