Don't forget to throw the voltage tester in the bin if you buy this. HTH.

I thought you used penicillin for this. But if you can clear it up with a Screwdriver good on you :stuck_out_tongue:

Funnily enough, one of the first treatments for the clap was having a metal rod shoved up the uretha to break through the scar tissue...

OK screwdrivers for the price,a bit worrying that they are designed to look like Wera safety screwdrivers.
Don't think I would like to work on a live system with these.

Tag out lock out if you can. But these are perfectly fine to use on regular mains, the tips will be the first thing to go as with all screwdrivers. I bought a set of CK that have lasted ages but cost 20 times this so these are a bargain for the DIY crowd. Heated. As someone else said bin the voltage tester or relegated it to paint opener, get a non contact volt stick or better yet a meter.

Why would you want to work on live equipment?

Should be pretty good for the price , wrong tools for live working though they will cost you a lot more.

Why are the not recommended for use on 240v? - (genuine question)

I would try to avoid using on any live equipment.
The screwdrivers are rated but always work on isolated equipment-certainly not an issue in a domestic environment.

Which is why I said tag out lock out. They are perfectly suitable to use on regular mains - did I ever recommend live? Most DIY'er with a consumer unit have no need at all to work live. Unlike a commercial environment where it happens all the time for one reason or another.
People are trying to infer that these are somehow unsafe or unfit which is not the case, they are rated.

A crazy dude named Photonic induction has a youtube video showing why - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGXQNLq19FQ - the guy sometimes swears, so don't watch if you're of a delicate nature
The video later goes on to show a CK screwdriver and how well it holds up under 'testing'
