Seems like a good price for 5 sockets, considering it comes with 2 remotes.

You can only trust the bad reviews.

I don't think many people know that for some time there have been "review circles" on Amazon, where a group of people all collude together to promote various products they sell as individuals. I personally know of one such group (they asked me to join it) and it consists of a suprising number of people. The reviews of this product definitely look like they have benefited from such a system. Too glowing, too much information, too many pictures. I agree with several of the above comments, you can't trust Amazon reviews anymore.

Oddly enough my last but one set were Screwfix, but I have never seen this brand or type there, (and they only seem to have Energenie ones now, which are cheaper at Toolstation).
I use them all the time, being disabled they are a godsend, but few last much past their warranty, either remote controls or the sockets give up, and are not all inter-exchangeable!

All "paid for" glowing, over the top 5 star reviews. I doubt there is a single legit one, and this type of product is one that has reliability problems, whatever make it is.
Pity as I could do with some new ones, precisely because they never last :-(

Bought last year from Screwfix still going strong. Used a lot in the beginning (new baby) not as much now. I haven't even changed the remit control battery.

Its the same with most reviews on Amazon, since they were told to make customers aware of "incentive" reviews. It gotten to the point that you can't trust any reviews now.
