Good price! £2 in the Co-op. Having said that, I picked up 5 punnets of them from a local market stall in Nottingham for just £1 the lot! Not the best strawberries, but fine in a smoothie.

tasteless, its no wonder people don't eat fruit any more, or aren't achieving their 5 a day 'goal'.
apparently deals like this will be no more once the brexit deal is fulfilled, it might even be the end of the british strawberry as we know it (polytunneled mass produced crop tasteless crap).
maybe this can be jamie olivers next campaign!

Big ad the Metro in LONDON in the week saying they were £1.29 for a (400g) Punnet. Looked at them and thought Nah! Couple of women one of which made the comment left over from Wimbledon and moved on!
A lot of their stores could do with some decent air conditioning especially at the moment!
Incidently I very rarely buy Fruit or Veg from Supermarkets over priced and you have to ripen at home!

17p a cabbage at lidl, and other deals every week, same at aldi. Even the main supermarkets have deals on every week. I grow my own veg but some stuff is so cheap it isn't worth growing.

Do you have to carry them home in your hands like the pic suggests?

Lidl East Kilbride reopened a few days ago, so it may be part of their reopening deals.
