Also be warned on these guys that there are a lot of fakes around! If genuine, these should come in a top opening packet with a coloured yellow ring on the negative terminal as well as an etched serial number just above that.
78 negative feedback this past month, mainly on batteries.

Thought this was a great deal until I read some of the negative and neutral reviews, some claiming they take ages to send things or never arrive & EBay get involved. They also seem to send batteries loose claiming they're from bulk packs, not boxed so alarm bells ringing. Might be genuine but many claiming they're fake, and if you're not in a rush then long wait might be fine, but I'm not sure I'll take the risk myself. Can get almost as good a value from reputable sellers known to sell genuine ones if you buy in larger quantities.
Thanks for listing though OP.

Cant believe how gullible most on here are a few points
1. its been confirmed this seller is selling FAKES
2. Duracells do not hold more power than other brands.
The adverts that show the bunny goign on and on, are Duracel Alkaline vs Zinc hugely misleading and I am surprised that they are still allowed to do it!
3. as long as it says alkaline on the battery then its just as good if not better than a duracell, that also means the £1.00 or less packs from Ikea or Wilko's

So, I just got ANOTHER box of fakes off of the bay... not even that cheap either!
I even specifically asked if the batts were genuine, had the etching, had the colour banding etc. And the seller said they did.
Is it just a case of asking the seller for a return or should I also report to eBay? Anyone with recent experience? The seller was savinguk to warn people.

just had to hang up on their customer services because they were completely useless.
after seeing this thread, on the 5th july i ordered a bunch of batteries.
a week later i still hadnt received them. i checked the seller account feedback, and they had had *hundreds* of negative feedback for non delivery/contact in the last couple of weeks. so i raised a dispute. a week later, they hadnt responded, so i got my money back.
but not all of it. just £5.50 of the £13.97 i'd paid out.
so it turns out you have to raise a dispute for each individual item, not all items from a single seller in one transaction. **** ridiculous! so i raise two more disputes. the last one, i couldnt, because it said the item had been removed by ebay. it also showed item as "pending payment" despite it clearly showing i'd paid £13.97 on the 5th july (the full amount for all the items)
today i get a £1.99 refund. so i get them to call me about it. which they do. i then spend 15 minutes going over and over what happened and how much i am owed (£6.48 owed)
but apparently they cant just refund me the rest, i have to wait till tomorrow for the other dispute to finish (quite why its tomorrow, i dont know, because i raised this dispute at exactly the same time i did the one i got the refund for today) and i also have to raise another dispute for the other item (which it wouldnt let me the other week, but has since magically reappeared on the list)... so i now have to wait another 8 days until i get that back.
she made me so angry, i even started shouting and hung up on her saying her help was completely ineffectual. i *never* do that, it was *that* frustrating
so yeah. i'm done with ebay (again) it's been like pulling teeth trying to get this money i'm owed. i just hope i get a "how did we do" customer support feedback form at some point today so i can air my grievances properly at how COMPLETELY USELESS their customer servicebot was at helping

I ordered some batteries after seeing this post. I learnt one lesson though, I should have checked his details first as his trading address and contact number was there. Checking on Google maps the door number did not exist on the residential road plus his number was fake. I got a refund plus learnt a lesson so in a way it was kind of worth it! It seems he was trading well and then wanted to go out with a bang by doing one big scam. Hope he had nothing to do with this post :smirk:

This just happened to me. I bought 3 packs from this ebay seller on the this deal, took my money but I never got a dispatched email and received nothing. I then opened a case which I got no reply and today ebay stepped in as asked on this date and I have just got my refund. I will leave negative feedback, don't you worry.
