Bought a Huawei Honor 7 with ''slight box damage'' £100 less than brand new price came with a ''reconditioned'' sticker on it, few little marks on the phone so sending it back. I used to repair phones so have a good eye on what to look for regarding quality control and this is most likely a refurbished unit so it's far from new. Worth the risk, free returns, no hassle, no loss.

Bought an LG 5.1 Theatre System, £280.... Arrived in a smashed up box - both ends open, the contents were badly packaged... decided to unwrap everything first to ensure nothing was missing, during that process I found lots of things damaged and outright disgusting.... Got to the point where there was screws missing, wires, remote and gave up, quite frankly it was like Amazon came across this at a dumpster and decided to try their luck...
Now, whilst speaking to Amazon about this, the rep refused to give me their name (odd), refused to do anything helpful and quite frankly it was like speaking to Ebay more than Amazon.... The main problem I had was returning this junk, as the box arrived open, ripped - unusable, it was around 5ft/3ft/2ft so not exactly something you can buy... Plus there was insufficient packaging etc (didn't want to send it back and then they refused to refund...) So, requested to be put on to a Manager, who again refused to help with the question over the packaging, they outright wanted me to buy a suitable box, packaging etc and return it myself.... He even admitted that he'd tried to source a box via google for me to buy but failed...... In the end, I just said I'll wrap the whole thing in tape then and fill the box with bubble wrap on the provision that I can't be held responsible for any further breakages because I was concerned about the original box being totally wrecked........ Got them to admit liability, got £10 towards the re-packaging costs, £5 credit and a courier to collect Friday (today)........................
Alas, amazon after much pestering only refunded £15 from the total price of the order, they have not arranged any courier to collect, I have sent 3 further messages to them over this since Wednesday and all have gone unanswered....
So, although you might just get a bargain from Amazon Warehouse, be prepared for the fact that they do literally sell junk and will try and screw you to keep that money..........

To be honest the best way is to check here, they always get really hot. Also worth knowing the rough warehouse price of what you're after BEFORE it happens because as pointed out in this thread amazon can be a bit sneaky raising the prices. Also for things like TVs (e.g. standard 5yr warranty at John Lewis/Richer Sounds) or anything with long warranties, warehouse deals can sometimes be a false economy.

It depends though, what 3D camels doesn't show is the "condition" of the product in relation to the price. You could have a phone/tablet for example with scratches all over it that no-one would touch at a stupid price, then a good condition one at higher price, the stupid cheap one sells leaving the good condition one, the price on 3D camels then only show the rise from the stupid cheap one to the good condition one.
Some are also showing as price increases but lets not also forget the big warehouse sale only just finished where things did go for stupid prices so again 3D camels will shows those stupid prices and you are thinking a big raise took place.
Now after saying all this, since watching the warehouse past couple of months I have seen some price rises but nothing really above 20%. Example product being the Nexus 7 Tablet which was always £57-£59 during any given day, today went to £63-£65. But some products I've never seen shift in price even during the "big warehouse" sale today are the same price then the 20% off example of that being like the BB8 toy thingy! (Which Babbler just posted as I was typing above!) Boss Orange jacket never went under £99 today £99 minus the 20% discount.
Price rises in baskets from yesterday, if someone else bought the product and where several listed with same condition but different pricing (as we've seen a lot in the warehouse, sometimes even where better condition product was cheaper) your basket will revert to the same product & condition combo but at the other price.
We've seen over the warehouse sale where the price may not be more expensive than the "New" product on the website due mainly to the warehouse price not "catching up" with the current selling price and normally takes a while to reduce. We seen this during the warehouse sale where Amazon had price matched a telly from Argos price for new product, leaving the warehouse price more expensive, took the telly two days to reduce in comparison to new selling price.
If you are mulling over a product the best way to stop any price rises are to buy then choose no rush giving yourself the roughly two/three days to cancel before they ship (did this myself on Monday and Tues/Wed public holidays in N.Ireland so gave myself that bit extra!).
For the other comments from fellow users in this thread don't every company do the same thing with sales. Makes me think of the Tesco 99p Pepsi 2lt at half price when it is always 99p in Asda. More or less every company employs the same tactics with sales even with the like of Next bringing in products that are especially only for the big clearance sale we have all got to be wise shoppers in this day and age although glad everyone does now think and realise that the RRP vs price you paying doesn't always equate to that saving.
Credit where is due though Nvidia Shields for £99, £10 free from Audible Trial, £5 free from £30 gift cards, £2 digital credit on top of the Fire TV stick at £20. Lets not forget also the other retailers who followed suit and if it where not for this sale today doubt they would have been doing a one day only sale as well.
Here is a little link below that filters products to only show 50-99% off. 50-99% off
Another one below also which means when you search you don't have to keep changing the search to warehouse deals. Warehouse deals different link
You still get full warranty and there will be nothing wrong with it. Good price.

Such chancers, putting prices up just before Prime Day then giving you a discount to enable you to buy a second hand item thats a few pounds less than the full price. Amazon should be banned from HUKD for fraudulent advertising.

Thanks for the heads up, I've ordered one too, it's still £250 brand new, currently on sale £230 on the vmall website which I was thinking about so to buy one from Amazon that states ''very good condition Item is in original packaging, but packaging has minor damage. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy'' It's worth a shot, others say small scratches on device but I found one with just box damage. I gotta admit I signed up for the prime trial for prime day and it's been pretty poor. For the majority of things Amazon are tricking people into thinking they are getting a better deal than what they are. For example I was looking at the 50ml 007 aftershave at the point where it was a few minutes away from being a prime day deal. It was listed as £12.99 with the RRP being £25.00. When it started as part of the prime deal, it was down to £11.49 (so only £1.50 off its normal all year round price), yet Amazon listed it as 54% off. Yes it might be 54% off the very inflated RRP (which it is never sold at all year round), but in actual fact it's only 11.5% off the all year round price. It seemed to sell quite quickly with people thinking they are getting more of a bargain than they are. The 125ml version is only around £10 more and even with the prime day price for the 50ml, the 125ml version works out as better value.

So I just bought a phone (Nexus 5x) for £160. What happens if there is a fault in the phone say 3 months down the line? Do I have any way to get help from amazon or do they only cover you for 30 days return.
Also the condition said Condition: Used - Good - Item in original packaging. Packaging will have cosmetic damage. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy. It doesn't mention anything about scratches (like they usually do) - is it likely to have scratches if they are not mentioned?

1 Year warranty with Amazon, you won't get a replacement though, it'll always be a refund.
And if it doesn't mention scratches, they are normally in perfect as-new condition.
Amazon are great with returns. They'll just refund if faulty for up to a year.

£365.43 - 20% = £292.34. Never been this cheap. Although you can find around the German websites for around 400 Euro without shipping and with the current Euro rate not being the best!
It's an excellent machine, but the price he purchased it for from Amazon was insane at just over £200. I think it was a pricing error at the time, but they honoured it.
I appreciate that you're unlikely to go for the same machine at the current price, but from what I've experience Melitta machines are well made, reliable and perform excellently.

Could you please link the specific phone you got? As there are various listings for the phone on amazon and I don't want to get the wrong version. Might get one as I'm considering upgrading from my Nexus 5 (2013). Would the LG G4 be a good upgrade?

I've never tried the Lidl or Aldi ones, but then again I don't shop there. I'll have to nip in and try them. The Taylors ones are about the best third party ones I've tried, but only their strongest one (Columbia, I think). So far I find the genuine pods the best, but if third party ones are up to my taste standards then I'll gladly use them, especially if they're half the price

Move on enjoy your day.
Seriously....

I have emailed them previously about warranty and have it in writing warranty is the same as a new product.
And if it doesn't mention scratches, they are normally in perfect as-new condition.
Amazon are great with returns. They'll just refund if faulty for up to a year.
Do products come with a warranty?
No. Used products generally do not come with a manufacturer's warranty but all of our items are backed by Amazon’s satisfaction guarantee.

It's an excellent machine, but the price he purchased it for from Amazon was insane at just over £200. I think it was a pricing error at the time, but they honoured it.
