Recently come back from Budapest and it was brill, very friendly, super cheap and loads to do (try the go karts in the derelict shopping mall) and a trip down the Danube river is well worth it.
Pint of their own beer, preferred Soproni, is around £1.30ish, they can accept euros but rather you use their own (Hungarian forint) and you get more for your money.
Hand luggage was plenty for me and was there for 4 days

depends what sort of fun you wanna get out of your holiday, lol. Of course is ok with a child of that age provided he is a good walker, if he start to complain then you ruin your holiday
Absolutely love Budapest, me and the wife go every year as we live near Stansted so its easy to get to, as has been said previously so much to do in the city, food is amazing, booze is cheap, pint of beer and large white wine was just over £2 you can Uber all over the city for cheap and even get one from the airport. We stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal and I manage to get it for ~£100 a night and its an amazing hotel with a lot of history.
PS: If you go make sure to check out the ruin Bars dotted around the city!

I do not think they do braces in Budapest unless you willing to travel often (then would be expensive), but yes in London. I know they are cheaper than these sharks in London. Get in touch with them: https://www.vitaleurope.co.uk/?gclid=CMKGlfvB880CFckaGwodWy4IOg

I've been looking into this as London is way too expensive for invisible braces. How did your procedure go?

Probably more times than you. I know most people on the tube look as if they've lost a fiver & found 20p. The Hungarians looked as if they had lost the will to live when i visited.

No claim to be had, they are getting what they paid for, what do people expect for £99, of course the flights will be bad times, they usually are with these deals

We did plan to take the public transport but arrived at the airport after the collection desk had closed as we bought the Budapest card online. Ended up getting a yellow taxi from just outside the terminal exit usingthe taxi stand to the left of the exit, think it was Fotaxi and cost about £15, took about 30 minutes to the hotel.

Good deal, me and the girlfriend went last month for 4 nights in this hotel. Very clean and friendly staff, the location is excellent right next to the Keleti train station and trams literally out the door of the hotel. Budapest is excellent for transport and such a beautiful city, the baths are amazing. I'd suggest getting the Budapest Card made our trip seamless.

Are any of these deals ever from Manchester?

Doesn't it specifically say from Manchester in the deal? "Regional flights depart from Manchster (MAN) " or are you saying that's not right?

13 Jul 162#20
As is almost always the case with these types of deal you're better off picking up the flights and hotel/apartment separately and it will be slightly cheaper with more choice of flight times and where to stay. The reviews for the hotel aren't great and accommodation in Budapest is so cheap anyway there's no reason to settle for staying there.

The dates were for December (I want to take the wife to the Christmas Market there) but a good point. Yes I did use Paypal so maybe should have done that; but after a lot of hassle and insistence (and £40pp extra) I got daytime flights. Probably if I had booked myself though it would not have worked out any more expensive!

Grab an Uber, otherwise its typically £15-18 pounds for a cab to the City centre and takes around 20-25 mins
SkyBlues1990
13 Jul 161#16
Does that include all flights from the dates given? If you paid on Paypal I'd make a claim.

I have just booked BUT BEWARE, the flight takes off at 20:55 so arrives in Budapest at 00:20, then departs about 30 hours later at 6am in the morning; so it's really only 1 day; so not very good after all!
Note: I have now managed to get better (daytime flights) but at an extra cost of £40 per person.

The Gellert baths and Spa are amazing, almost like swimming through a museum! A great range of treatments, and a good outdoor pool with quite possibly the strongest wave machine outside of the US!
