Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson reunite for this sixth instalment in the 'Fast and Furious' action thriller franchise, directed by Justin Lin. After their lucrative Rio heist, and unable to return home, Dom (Diesel) and the rest of his compatriots are forced to kill time lying low in different locations around the world. When DSS agent Hobbs offers Dom and his crew full pardons in return for taking down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans)'s gang of mercenary drivers, the offer seems too good to pass. But as the rivals head for a showdown on the streets of London, Dom learns that Shaw's second-in-command is none other than his presumed dead former lover, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez).

Heh 8 Mile, Public Enemies, Fear and Loathing Las Vegas and American Pie WERE all HMV exclusives.
They aren't technically steelbooks either, they are Metalpaks or Futurepaks as they are known. Different design, mostly the spine. Not as strong as a steelbook due to the hinge design and more prone to crush damage.

I hope they are Steelbooks. To be fair I have not seen these designs. Having said that Bourne and furious are the real deal. And Amazon France and Italy also do different Steelbook designs compared to the UK designs. Example Lawless and The Grey.
I only wanted Vegas as it's a good film. If it's a metal pack I will list on eBay or use the case to balance a table that potentially has a short leg.

No they are not steelbooks 100%. They are part of the popart range but these 4 particular ones are metalpaks/futurepaks and not steelbooks.
Ive got the Hitman and Elfen Lied steelpak to, as i like the artwork. but they are a lot more fragile than steelbooks, so not something i make a habit of getting.

The hinges look crap lol. May complain for a laugh. Steelbook actually made of plastic. May contain traces of tin.

It may very well have a UV code aswell, as most Universal films now come with ultraviolet copies. Ive had a few things that haven't said UV copy but came with them

Both of mine were in a jiffy bag. Sorry to hear yours were damaged. The only damage I found were that they were made of tin. I wish my spines were damaged as it would be better than the hinges. I already had the amarary of public enemy. I thought a steelbook would have been nice. I may just put them with the rest back to front or sell them on eBay in a few months. Still a great post and a good deal.
