Talk mobile use the vodafone network.
I saw this deal and if you look on their site they have a few good deals.
also 2500 minutes , 5000 texts and 15gb of data for £15 a month
As i was with vodafone i rang them to cancel my contract and they offered me the same deal but a 12 month contract not 1 month like talk mobile, so might be worth giving them a ring if you are out of contract.
I then asked how much it would be if i had more data and i ended up getting 7gb of data a month for the £10 instead.
Hope this helps someone as mobile tariffs are pricey

I'm currently with EE. I mentioned the £10pm Virgin offer (2500 minutes, plus 2500 08 numbers, Unlimited SMS, 2GB of data (3G).
For £9.99pm EE offered as 12 month sim-only upgrade:
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited SMS
2GB of Data (Superfast double speed 4G)
Use of allowance in Europe
EE PROS:
1. Unlimited Minutes
2. 4G data (double speed)
EE CONS:
1. 12 month contract
2. Need to pay £3pm extra for 300 08 numbers
VIRGIN PROS:
1. 2500 Minutes to 08 numbers
2. 30 day rolling contract
3. Good further discounts negotiable
VIRGIN CONS:
1. Allowance not usable in Europe
2. No 4G data
3. Not unlimited minutes (but plenty)
My main gripe with EE is that I pay £3pm extra for the 300 08 numbers. They were not willing to do anything to offset that so I took my PAC code.
Any suggestions?

Better to go for the £15 plan IF £47.25 TCB gets paid

Because you can't get that deal at this moment in time.
A house might only have cost you a couple of thousand quid in the late 70s, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a rip off at £250k now.

I'm more interested in TM payg 10p for 60 mins  My dual sim back up has one of these and a o2 sim (More Minutes Bolt On gives you 50 minutes of UK calls to UK landlines and mobiles) and my EE iphone and a 3 (free 200MB/3p calls) voice enabled tablet. Covered.

These are all different deals -
the poster of this deal means the 30 day sim only contract but others have been talking about the 12 month sim only deal with more minutes and more cashback.
Then others are confusing Talkmobile with Talk Talk Mobile.
Others are comparing a redemption deal with Vodafone etc.
If you have a 30 day contract then you are not locked into more than 30 days at a time. IMO this is better value than double minutes and a 12 month tie in for £45.

I cant see why this is hot as it used to have 3000 min for the same price (with 5000 txt, 4Gb data) which I have at home (for my son)..bought it ast January but has been available until few weeks ago. Had £49 TCB with it which for some reason was paid twice ...so final cost was £22/year (£1.83 /month)

Probably, could be same building but outsourced customer care in the UK then to Egypt outsourcing.
My dealings with Egypt were certainly better than UK contract and AU care based at 3 India a few years ago.
Best Voda care I ever had was payg based in Scotland. Ironic, given you can up and PAC at any time. English and Irish outsourced call centres are pathetic, you think a overbilled refund was coming out their wage!
I did contact TalkMobile payg and a english chap was great, like Voda payg Scotland he put the Voda contract care to shame.

to be fair VodaFone own TalkMobile so the relationship is different. i.e. TalkMobile have a call center in Cairo near the pyramids, VodaFone Eygpt are market leaders in Eygpt - I wouldn't be at all surprised if TalkMobile and VodaFone Eygpt didn't share the same offices in Cairo.

I've posted my experience on similar threads before.
You can do most things via the live chat on the website, which is more convenient than phoning I find.
I have had minor issues (e.g. trying to get nominal credits back at the end of the contract) and they definitely have some issues with their billing system, as having now done a few contracts for myself and others the accounts often show some bizarre entries at the start and end of the contract which hints at them reusing either account numbers or phone numbers without starting with a clean slate for the customer (its difficult to describe unless you actually see what the opening bills look like).
Any network service issues on Vodafone are within the parameters of standard network coverage issues. The 3G data service I find is near-rock solid.
Has anyone got any real world experience of Talk Mobile? I've read a LOT of horror stories about them saying that customers have paid their regular bills only to find that Talk Mobile have put a default on their credit file for non payment, which has resulted in people being unable to remortgage their properties.
Their customer service sounds really bad too.
I used Talk Mobile a couple of years ago and found them to be really helpful when cancelling a contract, and things seem to have become worse.

as it uses the vodafone network i would suggest it is 4g but i would check with them first
It will never be 4G. Vodafone do not allow those companies sitting on their network to use 4G (or maybe they make it cost prohibitive). At the time Vodafone dropped Sainsbury's they were looking to exit this market as they were being undercut on their own network. Having said that, they've since become the smaller player and not doing particularly well, so Talk Mobile may still be on their network for a while to come.
