Got one today in bury St Edmunds. They had peach smoothie and a floral one. They also had the small sampler ones and wax tartlets 4 for £2.

I've always found the Simply Home range to be just as good personally. Heat added!!

I got the christmas scent one in folkestone earlier, i think it's called magical moments or something. Love the smell, not as strong as the other normal yankee candles but i love the smell and still worth it. I think they're medium based on the size, so still worth £4 and great size as a gift

The scents of these things are overpowering..........can't be good for you!

Looks like they are definitely the Simply Home range of Yankee Candles. Which as mentioned above are the same quality Yankee Candles, but they are more simple scent recipes, which doesn't mean less strength, just scents which may not smell as interesting or have as many different notes. Some have said they aren't as strong and apparently use less oil. Best thing to do is to give some a try :smiley:

I avoid Yankee Candles now and prefer to pop to a local TK Maxx/Homesense store and browse the candles there as I'll find scents I prefer which are the same but more than often, better/stronger than Yankee and at cheaper prices.

These are the 'budget' range candles that are stocked by Asda, not the original expensive type Yankees.

Yes, they are made by Yankee Candle, even the same wax, but they are not the same as the original, more expensice Yankee Canndle branded jars. The scents aren't as strong and the burn time is quicker than the traditional ones and they are slightly smaller, but of course that's what makes them that much cheaper. Put simply it's like buying the economy version of a Yankee Candle.
