Oh my Lord. 4 deals posted by you in the 4 years you've been here, 50% of which are Waitrose ones and you have the temerity/stupidity to accuse someone of spamming the forum with their first deal. The internet never ceases to amaze me. It's one of the very few places where people not only seem happy to advertise their ignorance/lack of intelligence to all and sundry but actually revel in it. Hilarious.

You can always choose to ignore it and appreciate that things go on in the world for other people as well.
It's actually easier to just scroll past a deal that doesn't suit rather than click on it, post a comment and expect people to like you for it.
Another Gearbest spammer. I wish there is away to block these "deals" in here.

Wow, no need for such comments.... Why don't you go and post something else. Most people that use this site and not registered and were probably not aware of this deal. Pls keep quite.

They are better then everything else at the same price point. I have a few pairs and they are great. On par with £10 pairs imo.

I've got a pair of these, bought them when they were last on offer and to be honest they aren't bad especially for this price. Seem to be quite well made, the cord is braided and the sound quality is pretty decent with good bass. Can't comment on longevity as I have only used them for a couple of weeks but they've certainly stood up to just being shoved in my pocket when I'm not using them.

Piston 3's are braided but this version comes with a flat cable and isn't braided.
I can't say there is much difference in sound quality between the Piston 3's (still have) and Piston 3 Youth Edition's (lost them) that I owned.

Think I'm gonna buy another pair of the Piston 3's. I bought these £10.63 when they were on offer last year for under a tenner and was really impressed with the quality. Can't see a better price on the 3's. I looked into the newer model, the hydrid, but I think I'll stick with the 3. Anyone got a better price?

I have 3 pairs of the Hybrids and 1 pair of the Piston 3s. I cannot fault them for the money paid and the angled section makes them a perfect fit. Paired up with a decent player these give great sound for the money.

I purchased 2 pairs a while back. One is going strong, and the other stopped working on one ear within a couple of weeks.
delivery takes ages though.

I'm not on the side of this guy who complained about the spammer, basically because I'm not active enough here to know if it's true, but I don't understand why people are calling out the fact that this person only has one deal as evidence either way. Ferrarrian clearly said "another Gearbest spammer", suggesting that multiple accounts are being made directly by gearbest to advertise their offers on here. Doesn't mean that the individual accounts are making multiple threads.
The elitism of not being allowed an opinion in these parts unless you have posted a dozen hot deals is pretty stupid. I imagine > 99.9% of users do not contribute deals, doesn't automatically disqualify them from being allowed to state their mind.

Is there much difference ( sound quality wise) from these VS the piston 3?
gtd65
27 Jun 16#26
I didn't own the "color" edition so can't be sure but I really didn't notice any significant difference with the flat cabled "youth" editions. I bought the youths because they were only about £5 and supposedly, the only difference was that they were made of plastic vs metal.
So which are better then, the piston 3's or hybrids? I have these ones and they're ok, not much bass.

Received mine and they're fake. The cheek of the counterfeiters is unbelievable, there's a QR code wrapped around the cord near the plug and it takes you to a website "http://www.mierji.com/hsyz.php?37301a33aee6deb252a5537bf7de5f69" which, for me, loaded a picture of a Chinese toy saying some thing like "your product is genuine", (note the URL mierji not xiaomi) the sound quality is low end

Thanks for the geography lesson, now for an economics lesson. The chinese trade with the rest of the world using the US dollar. So, sterling is valued against the USD benchmark. Due to the stupidity of the majority of UK citizens who are convinced that we are being overrun by immigrants and who 'want to take the country back from the Muslims', GBP has dropped in value against USD which means that things become more expensive for us to buy from abroad. On top of this, as old Thatcher screwed up our manufacturing industry in the 80s, we don't really have anything tangible to offer the world when we negotiate global trade agreements.
This is all way above a £3-4 pair of earphones, but the principle is the same regardless of the value of the item we are importing.
In summary, "s**t's gonna cost us more!"

Barring a few refugees the majority of our Muslims come from "ASIA" so coming out of the Euro wouldn't really help , anybody who voted for that reason had no business voting in the first place.
Things won't necessarily cost more in the long run, sure the pound has dropped due to market nerves but it may recover when the government lays down it's plans for the future. I suspect, despite being entirely undemocratic, we will stay in the single market anyway.
