XCOM 2 pre-order for XB1 / PS4. They were a day or so late with my Doom pre-order but a good price.

Great game. Similar to the first - but like a suped up special edition. Most importantly the maps have proper random generation, so no two battles are the same (and it helps re-playability).
Very tough though...

Yes I hope so too, watching reviews online it does seem that the second one (PC version at least) is littered with small non game ruining bugs. Hopefully these have been ironed out for the console release.

Weren't there some major issues with this on PC? Going to wait for reviews to see how it performs on these under-powered consoles.
XCOM 2 will be available for PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2016. You can pre-purchase XCOM 2 right now through the 2K Store. The game will also be available for pre-purchase through each respective console marketplace soon. Pre-ordering XCOM 2 will unlock the Resistance Warrior Pack, which includes additional soldier customization options like bonus outfits, headgear and custom facial war paint, as well as a “Survivor of the Old War,” a new XCOM recruit who will appear in the Avenger’s barracks.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of XCOM 2 includes the Reinforcement Pack*, a collection of three DLC packs:
- ANARCHY’S CHILDREN: This rebellion-themed content pack introduces more than 100 new exotic customizations for the entire arsenal of armors available to your XCOM soldiers. These options are purely cosmetic and do not alter the stats of a soldier. (Available at launch)
- ALIEN HUNTERS: Transform the soldiers of XCOM into an elite alien hunting squad with impressive new weapons and armor to face off against new alien Rulers that will pursue your squad across an entire campaign. They're on the banned list here. I did try and post that same deal initially

Loved the original games, but the reboot was a bastardised, diluted mess of a game.
I hope this sequel is more like the original... but I very much doubt it.

At least you didn't have to chose between sending a rookie to open a UFO door (with almost guaranteed death from overwatch) or blowing a hole in the side of the UFO.
I loved the originals, and this is different - I'd say better tactics are required in the reboots. The originals had too many cheese tactics.

I know loads of people had issues with that particular deal but I've done pre-orders with them for years with minimal hassle (one game went missing, it was replaced in about a week)
