Did they ever fix the game? At launch it was a broken, buggy mess with serious performance issues.

Some of their keys are legitimate, directly from the publishers, but a few aren't.
This is the first decent discount on XCOM2 (AFAIK), but I imagine this marks the beginning of it being on sale regularly. And the Steam Summer Sale is less than three weeks away...

There's 2 bits of dlc out with one more to come. The first bit is just more soldier customization so not that exciting but the 2nd is new story missions. New aliens. New gear. It's £7.99 on it's own.
Cjs keys also have the preorder soldier customization dlc for 99p if you want to be totally complete

Thanks OP & kilboy.
I held off on the preorder, as I'm old enough to remember the original xcom games - and the second was a waste of money. It was the exact same as its (truly excellent) predecessor but set underwater instead of on land - so was a great game unless you already had the first one. Which everyone did...
I regretted that decision when I heard how good this was and saw the price climb.
Have now bought the digital deluxe version. Cheers guys. Heated, natch.
(27.2GB installation btw, for anyone interested)

Unfortunately, it appears they didn't. I've been waiting to buy it but the Steam discussions is full of people complaining that the development team appear to be focussed on DLC and not fixing the performance issues. A real shame.

it's hit and miss
you need a fairly high end machine to run it properly
