I know it's only £3 difference but waiting on tomb raider rise of to hit £10 before I bite.
Shame halo 5 doesn't have co-op or I would've gotten that.
Great prices for fairly recent games as well.

Rare Replay just turned up and it was still sealed. A brand spanking new game for £6.49. Deal of the century!

Please, prove me wrong, then. Any game that needs a 20gb patch on day one isn't complete- the Master Chief Collection is known for not having the multiplayer component on the disc, any hard copy of Assassins Creed Unity will be a buggy, incomplete mess if played without updates, a PS4 disc version of AC Black Flag will only be 720p (as there was an update to improve the resolution), and the Rare Collection downloads more than half of the titles rather than hold them on the disc. All of this means that as a future investment, these games will be broken & incomplete- therefore making them undesirable as a collectors item.
Absolutely none of this will matter, though, as there will be remastered versions of all of these games on future consoles, so the prices will be similar to, say, a PS3 version of The Last Of Us.

I bought an Apple Watch from these guys. No problem. Paid with PayPal. Would use again. Once you get the tracking number you can opt to have the item delivered to your nearest drop off point. That's what I did. Save any 'left in bin' on bin day cock ups as MyHermes normally do!

A game will only hold it's value (or increase) if it is only available in limited quantities and it is that is still desirable. Basically no game this generation is going to meet that criteria because they are made in unlimited quantities via download. In the much longer future if it's not available for sale as a digital download the patches probably won't be available either.
The only games I can see having any real value would be games released in somewhere like Japan but not made available for sale elsewhere.
The original Conker has a high premium because it is both rare and desirable so it goes for £150+, whereas Goldeneye on the N64 is desirable but isn't rare so is only worth about £7

Agreed, there are patches and updates etc but if you're offline, you can pop the disc and play (or refuse the update and get playing most of the time).

This is just incorrect. They install the data from the disc, it's not a download.

I never thought Rare Replay would drop like this! I really believed the physical version would hold a premium in the future, especially after seeing Conkers BFD hold its value so well on the N64 and original Xbox.
Absolute bargain in my eyes.

Seriously, if you believe that physical copies of ANY game from this generation will be worth anything in the future, you're completely wrong. Any Xbone or PS4 disc is just a thinly disguised key to kickstart a download of the game to your console, and once the servers are turned off, they're effectively worthless.
Still, good prices for some good games- by all means, enjoy the games, but don't think that you're making any serious future investment.
