There is no problem if you like vintage electronic items, but for most people it will be rubbish soon. As soon as the new model comes out, it will be even more cheaper.

Considering the original 360 has lasted 10 years, I hardly think this model of the One will suddenly be consigned to "history". It's not going to suddenly stop working with the next batch of games!
At home we have 2 of the 360 Arcade models that were bought in 2007 - both still work.
One had Red Ring of Death, while under warranty - shipped to Germany for repair, not had a problem since.

Got mine delivered this morning, and it's now been put away in the Xmas cupboard for my 10 yr old.
Just need to check the expiry date on the game voucher. May have to activate it on my xbox now so that it doesn't expire.
I've already got Forza & GoW so, seeing as he's 10 I'm thinking Rare Replay is the game to download.
Like the fact that you can have 2 active Xbox One consoles using the same Live account as well, so he'll have a good year's worth of Games with Gold titles available to him from the off, and we'll set up an EA Access account for him as well.

Coming from someone who owns an Xbox 360, can someone explain the advantages of getting an Xbox one. Is it worth getting yet for my son as he is asking for one and not sure if it offers any advantages. Many thanks

Well for my son it was the fact that many of the new grade A games are available only on Xbox One, and it has backwards compatibility for loads of 360 games. Plus it just looks and plays nicer.

I'm still smiling because I got the deal from Smyths with a second controller and physical copy of Quantum Break for £199. I'm just hoping that, as normally happens, the price for the same sort of package doesnt fall massively just right after I take delivery of mine.

Apart from Forza there isn't anything exclusive that would interest me. PS4 is getting Shenmue 3, Crash Bandicoot remasters, Last Guardian, new Kojima game and VR Resident Evil. I will stick to my 360 and PS3 for now, but PS4 will be my choice when the price is right. HOT deal though.

Halo is cheap as broken biscuits mate, so purchase online for approx £15. Most expensive game in the bundle is Forza 6 I think.

Its a download. The download code entitles you to only one of the games available for the bundle. Hence why it's called 'name your game bundle'
