I was going to get excited for 2k17 but again they are making for old generation again. Which holds current generation back. Yes they spice up the graphics a little but wrestling games do look terrible of late. As for this game, it's much better then the last one, much more content and heat for the price. Excuse the rant, I was just hoping for more from 2k.

I stopped buying wrestling games years ago. I gave them a last chance with the 2011 version and that was so awful it was the last straw and i haven't bought a wrestling game since. Even a few of my friends who are still hardcore wrestling fans have given up and stopped buying them. The games keep getting worse with stale gameplay from a modified PS1 engine they are still using generations later, they remove features only to bring them back as new features years later and have removed all of the fun modes like a gm mode or a proper career. Even fifa games have evolved more than these latest WWE games.

The best wrestling game I played (excluding SNES era) was SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role. It was more arcadey than these recent releases and almost anyone could play it. These ones get boring fast. 2k17 will have Goldberg so that's a bit tempting but if it uses the same old mechanics, I'll probably pass.

Very good game imo, much much better than 2k15, but have noticed since the recent NBA 2k16 on ps+ this month that it seems Take Two put much more effort in the basketball games.

The WWE games on PS1 and PS2 were all really good tbh. It was only with the WWE 2008 version for PS3 that the quality dropped massively.
