So I saw this which has the image of the amiibo bundle as the primary image.
Musicmagpie also have another listing which has just a picture of the game cover as it's primary image (at £17 odd).
What do you reckon guys?

Well, it certainly *looks* like this should include the amiibo, based on the listing details - but Music Magpie have made errors in listing of different editions of games in the past, so this is one worth checking with their support contacts IMO, in order to avoid potentially needing to return.
Been waiting for this, cheers! Pretty sure it should come with the amiibo since there's a listing without.

decided it's worth the risk of not getting amiibo, tbh not overly interested in the game but for this price it's worth a punt  if I don't like I can sell on and probably make money so at the end of the day win win

I am contacting you today regarding your recent order for the item Nintendo 3DS: amiibo Chibi-Robo! (Nintendo Wii U/3DS)
Unfortunately, we have experienced a higher demand for this product than expected over a short period of time and our website was unable to update quickly enough to represent our true stock levels once the item had run out of stock.
As a result, we have placed an order for more copies of this item, which should have arrived by now. On querying this, we have just been informed of a slight delay with this particular title from our supplier. They have informed us that while the item is indeed on its way to us, this product will not arrive with us until Thursday morning.
So there's a delay, but it looks like it is indeed the amiibo version of the game! Woo!

emailed them, they sent me this:
We are very sorry indeed to hear that "Nintendo 3DS: amiibo Chibi-Robo! (Nintendo Wii U/3DS)" from your order has not arrived. Whilst we can only assure you that the item was dispatched in good time, it would appear that the courier has unfortunately lost the delivery.
In lieu of this, it is only fair we refund you immediately. This will be done within the next 72 hours and will be clearly seen on your account.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the non-arrival of your delivery and thank you for your custom and your patience.

Just received my order - amiibo only. No game, amiibo was not in the box shown in the listing and just in the usual amiibo packaging. Will contact music magpie as if everyone who ordered get's the same solo amiibo then theirs too many things wrong with the listing on the site, biggest one being it states the item's format being 3DS/2DS / Cartridge.
jco83
29 Jun 16#37
Yes the listing is indeed completely inaccurate. Sorry to hear this
*It's also strange as they don't sell any single amiibo ...
They sound very quick in their ability to judge that the courier must've lost it  Seems fishy to me. Sorry to hear :disappointed:

29 Jun 16#38
Cheers, it's aiight as long as I can sort it  from a quick look on the Music Magpie site I can't find any solo amiibos listed. The only thing that came up from a search of "amiibo" is Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival so unless I'm not looking hard enough it seems Music Magpie don't sell any amiibo's on there own so this is even more confusing.
jco83
29 Jun 16#39
They definitely don't sell amiibo. I'm concerned they ordered in some solo amiibo's especially, so they could cover themselves as they priced this listing too low. We shall see what others recieve ...
*it's still available too

Did it just say amiibo? Or did it indicate the game as well ? :innocent:

29 Jun 16#41
I'll flesh out the details of my order as at first glance looking at both confirmation and delivery notice e-mails as well as my account on the site it seemed to indicate I ordered incorrectly:
So two out of the three descriptions looks like they might be them covering there asses with change in description from the listing, but as I've mentioned only a few times  - theirs no item for just the amiibo on the Music Magpie site to buy so something seems wrong. The "Nintendo 3DS: amiibo Chibi..." was also literally it, the length of this description was cut off by the trailing dots.
jco83
29 Jun 16#42
Well it seems it could've been just the amiibo all along. Strange though

After e-mailing [email protected] earlier this afternoon to let them know I was sent the wrong order I just received the following from there reply three hours later (which is pretty quick to send to a disgruntled customer):
We outsource our product data on the musicMagpie Store and it appears on this occasion that we have been provided with an incorrect listing which made it appear that the item you purchased was the game bundle, when in fact it should have listed the amiibo figure on its own.
I can only apologise for this unfortunate error and we have contact our data supplier to inform them of the issue with this particular product. We realise that this is unacceptable and apologise for the frustration this has caused you.
As a result, I have processed a full refund by the original payment method and this can take up to 3 working days to show in your account. We would also like to provide you with a 10% discount code to be used against a future order.
So not a bad resolution really! Obviously I would of preferred the bundle but can't grumble for a free amiibo. The discount code is soso but hey, better than a kick in the knackers! I totally suggest everyone contact Music Magpie if they also receive just the amiibo.

I received just the amiibo figure yesterday. Emailed support and asked them how I go about getting a refund as they sent the wrong item. This afternoon they emailed me a Freepost address label and have asked that I send the figure back. Once they receive it, they will give me a refund.

It could be that starting your email with asking how you go about getting a refund has caused you to get that response. As opposed to expressing your heartfelt disappointment and sadness!! lol
