Saw this Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Groomer Razor in home bargains in Leyland today. For £9.99 I thought it was a good price considering the 9 blades included.

Seconded. DE razor shaving is cheaper and more enjoyable. I'll never go to cartridge blades.

I have to shave 3 times a week...and I will never use a double edged razor as one single slip/ forgetful swipe can leave a nasty cut on your face. I used it while I was in my teens, but once I switched to cartridge blades I will never go back. the Wilkinson sword one is the best by far!!!

Don't shave when drunk then. I've been DE shaving for about five years now, roughly 3x a week, and it's great. The only cut I had was when I knicked a spot on my jaw line. Styptic pencil stopped the blood instantly. Just don't be careless with the blades...

Double edge razors - the trick is to set time aside not rush it quickly, same as shaving them testicilanos with a cartridge, slowly to start and build up - I can shave there quicker than my face with a cartridge now

Another vote for de. Being the wrongside of 45 I switched 6 weeks ago. Three passes every morning before work takes about an extra 5 minutes compared to cartridge. Knicks have stopped and I am even shaving in non working days now much to the wife's pleasure. For £14 I got all the kit and enough blades to last 12 months.

Then when you get into DE shaving you find you get into straight edge shaving. :innocent:
Anyhow if you ignore what folks say all over just get derby or arko soap, a cheap badger brush from China, cheapo blades from Russia, preferably .NEW. Sputnik Gillette blades. not old stock you usually get on ebay. You can get them about £4 for 100.
You won't cut yourself unless you shave sideways, it doesn't take longer, you don't have to Nancy about like folks say.
Anyhow stop going on about DE shaving, on non DE shaving post.
Hot deal if I was still using them.

If your in the market for some seriously good shaving soap.
vitos Italian soft soap is available on Amazon, 1kg block for less than £12 delivered  only 3 in stock now I bought a "few"
Crazy lathery and slick, you get oodles of cream from the stuff. Not quite as nice smelling as cella, but that costs £18 for 1kg.
