I have had this watch since it first came out and paid £160 for it via Amazon. I get a day use from it, 6am till 10:30pm and have 15% left ... this is without a run. With a 30 minute run I get though 15% battery and an hour run uses 25% and would need to charge the watch at work, otherwise I'll be left with a black disc on my arm!
One thing to do though is remove doze mode from the moto body app on your phone as the latest update has messed up the step counting so it goes into a doze state until you tilt your wrist! Guess they will resolve this with the next moto body update.
If you run and want Android wear functionality, music and HR monitor, this is the watch for you, yes the strap appears dusty at first but after a few months it is fine. If you don't run, then get the non GPS watches as they do look a lot nicer.

He once said that MadKatz Memory cards were made by Sony, and sold under a different brand for half the price to encourage a premium price on the Sony Memory Cards. what a knob!

It would be OK if it lasted a day but it seems to last 'upto' which is worrying, my urbane lasts 2 days of moderate usage and 1 full day of heavy, but i am so used to taking off before bed and placing on a charger, and it takes like 40-50 minutes for a full charge.

There's a reason why these are flying off cheap, and practicality isn't one of them. Moto made a a dumb move by going for LCD with it's many drawbacks on a round screen on a device of this size with such limited battery space available.

my view is charging everynight is less of an inconvenience that having to remember/check how many days since you last charged. so for me never having to charge would be ideal but after that every night or every few weeks (like a kindle) are fine but anything in between I'd actually worse. I've got a SW3 and charge everynight but it can last for 2-3 days so on the couple of times I've forgotten to put it to charge it's still been OK (whereas my phone wasn't!)

Please don't try and sell s**te battery life as a benefit. My Vivoactive will last me 2-3 weeks or 1 week if I use the GPS for 6-8 hours.
One of the things I like to monitor is my sleep tracking, and you can't do that while it's charging. My wife's apple watch is the same as this and it's a pain as they all have proprietary docks.

Two questions:
Does the Moto 360 Sport feature a speaker as well as the mic to allow calls via the watch (as per Huawei watch)?
I typically pair my Nexus 6P to my car bluetooth when I'm on the road; would this preclude me from connecting to Moto 360 Sport simultaneously? I'd like to use watch to skip tracks if I'm streaming to car audio via Bluetooth but cannot see this working as I was under impression a Bluetooth connection is limited to a single device at any time.
Thanks
Jimmyboy
30 Jun 16#105
In short no it wouldn't be a problem. The actual control if this would be from the phone as it would be the phone with multiple Bluetooth connections. I did have that exact issue when I was using an Elephone P8000. When it was connected to my watch I would get into my car and the phone would also connect to my car. All seemed to work ok until a phone call came in, the car kit would pick the call up but with no sound. In this case I believe it was because the Elephone only had one Bluetooth channel. I've not had that issue with any other phone I've used so I think it would be absolutely fine with mainstream phones and I'm very confident the Nexus 6P would be fine.
Sorry just to add in terms of skipping tracks I think it would probably work fine as the phone is playing the music via Bluetooth to the car and the watch is simply being used to control which track is played.

Initial thoughts? I was torn between this and the Huawei Watch but at this price (£200 cheaper) was a no brainer. The hardware in the 360 sport is definitely easily compatible/standard with the 2.0 update.
It has the same hardware inside as the 360 gen 2 and other similar smartwatches from competitors.
The original 360 is not as that has different/inferior processor.
It would not be in Motorola interest to deliberately isolate and castrate the 360 sport from the 360 gen 2.
If they do though, they'll be uncomfortable questions asked, and a mass exodus from their product line.
We will see ....

LG GwatchR
Fully round screen too, no flat tyre.
There's a reason why these are flying off cheap, and practicality isn't one of them. Moto made a a dumb move by going for LCD with it's many drawbacks on a round screen on a device of this size with such limited battery space available.
Motorola have stated that Google won't update the original 360 as the hardware is no longer sufficient, latest series is fine.
I have the steel, just bought it from current deal but could take it back...
my thoughts exactly
Got a Samsung phone so thinking Samsung but a good price.....hmm....
Anyone got S2 and can give thumbs up or down?
Battery life is key!
One of the things I like to monitor is my sleep tracking, and you can't do that while it's charging. My wife's apple watch is the same as this and it's a pain as they all have proprietary docks.
If you cant remember, You're asleep.
Thanks
The Steel will look better, you can change the strap etc, but is a couple of years old now.
Thanks
Does the Moto 360 Sport feature a speaker as well as the mic to allow calls via the watch (as per Huawei watch)?
I typically pair my Nexus 6P to my car bluetooth when I'm on the road; would this preclude me from connecting to Moto 360 Sport simultaneously? I'd like to use watch to skip tracks if I'm streaming to car audio via Bluetooth but cannot see this working as I was under impression a Bluetooth connection is limited to a single device at any time.
Thanks
Sorry just to add in terms of skipping tracks I think it would probably work fine as the phone is playing the music via Bluetooth to the car and the watch is simply being used to control which track is played.
Oh, nvm I just got text for delivery today.
Thank you for contacting Motorola.
As of now we haven't made any announcements regarding the 2.0 update .
