In all honesty, this game looks much better than the first one BUT I would recommend waiting until finding out if he game has a good PC port as the first one had an awful port. My GX 970 couldn't get 60fps on the lowest settings.
But it's a good price for a deluxe preorder of an A-list game.
For some reason the standard and the deluxe editions are priced the same.
It will be a uPlay code.

Why why why are people pre-ordering? You've seen what happened with the first one...
The first was a top notch game, imo the combat and shooting mechanics were head and shoulders above gta, being able to hack into things and tinker with traffic and cause explosions was good. I love gta don't get me wrong but the game hasn't changed much since gta 3, just more of the same, bigger maps better graphics bigger budget, at least watch dogs tried something different. I found it much more fun evading the police aswell and the variety of bad buys was better. I also get bored of character tripping over everything in gta

More so, why are people pre ordering a digital game :stuck_out_tongue:
The first game was OK tbh just not worth the full RRP. Got around 15-20hrs out of it so can't really complain.

I try avoid preordering Ubi titles after all the disappointment I've had recently so definitely won't be picking this up until I see some reviews.
Best price I've seen though so voted hot.

First one was alright, but not sure it really warranted a sequel...

Remember a big update being applied to Watch Dogs 1 that turned the title into a GTA wannabe! The trailer for 2 confirmed my fears! Staying well clear

I put several hours into the first one, then it crashed and lost my progress (PS4), never again! I'll never buy Ubisoft again, they put out buggy games just to make profit, with no effort to fix it (I bought it several months after release, appears it was still a known issue).

I am joking ofc, but this sounds like a paid review if I ever heard one
I played through all of it. The characters and story let it down though, played like an awful d-list movie

why would anyone pre-order when the first game was such a disappointment. WAIT FOR THE REVIEWS AND YOUTUBE VIDEOS THEN DECIDE. IT WILL STILL BE £30 ON SOME SITE CD KEYS ETC. JUST WAIT.

11 Jun 16#16
How do you know this is the lowest price it's gonna be between now and release? Cd-keys (or any of a bunch of other key sellers) will have this for <£25 at some point in the next few months.

No it wasn't. It was a lacklustre gta clone with a few extra gimmicks and a ton of repetitive ubi-filler chucked in for size.

I loved the first one also, exactly my kinda thing.
But I'm still miffed at Ubisoft for delivering a game that required over 10 versions of a visual tweak mod to look anything near what the E3 trailer showed.
If you pre order, all you're doing is giving them less incentive to deliver a game worthy of your cash.

Ah well, each to his own, I completed watch dogs and really enjoyed it, I played gta for a couple of weeks then just forgot about it. Obviously it's an exceptional game I just preferred the shooting and driving in watch dogs

Well, the water looked really nice in Watch Dogs 1, at least. Maybe it's still prettier now.
I played Watch_Dogs on Wii U, finished the campaign and really liked it. I am another who prefers the gunfights and driving in W_D to that in GTA, plus it has a more dramatic tone to it compared to GTA's over the top gangster romp style.

Totally with you! I loved the game and got loads of playing time out of it. I could happily dig it out and play it again. I understand many felt let down by the graphics downgrade but I really dont understand where all the hate comes from?

it is at this time, I'm not locking myself to this price by preordering, if it's cheaper elsewhere later on I'll cancel and pre-order there.

Also, I hear a lot of people complaining about the Skills tree reset 'bug', Was this actually a bug? It happened to me when I was successfully hacked, which suggested to me that it was part of the game?

Graphics were shown to be mind bogglingly great at E3 then in order to "tone it down" for the "Next gen" consoles it was decimated down to distinctly average graphics.
Gameplay was good, but it received a downgrade due to Ubi getting lazy.
If people pre order again, it's bound to be given the lazy treatment

Jeez why does everyone need things spelling out these days?
I enjoyed the gameplay, in the end. However, I regret pre-ordering because the product I received did not match what was advertised in many of the trailers and the E3 reveal. The graphics were severely downgraded from the E3 reveal until one modded the game using TheWorseMod version 1.0.
While the gameplay was the same, it still lacked the explosiveness and spontaneous nature of the E3 footage.
Therefore, my point here is, wait until you have seen the game and experienced its gameplay before you rush into a pre-order. I for one will be doing this this time around, for fear of expecting a graphical 8/10 and receiving a 6/10.
