From my previous experience the Vodafone apps were easily uninstalled or disabled. Other than that it's a pretty clean version of Android.

Speakers again!
Genuine question .... why does anyone care what a speaker on a phone is like? They are *all* terrible. If you want anything to sound decent from a phone, you connect it to external speakers somehow or you use headphones.
What do you use the built in one(s) for?
Only time I ever see (hear) them in use is scumbag teenagers on public transport! (For which, thankfully, I will always have headphones handy ...)

Eventually took the plunge and bought 1 of these for my wife and am so impressed. It's definitely not in the same league as S7 Edge or similar but for about 20 or 25% of the cost in my view it would probably be suitable for about 90% of people. I'm thinking of changing my LG G3 with dying battery for 1 of these. As others have said it does all the normal things well. Screen is good, phone is fast and battery is excellent - showing 3 - 4 days for light use. Put Camera Zoom on and photos are fine. Cost £1.69 for ebay unlock which was received in about an hour and removed/disabled Vodafone apps. If you have been thinking about buying this, I would definitely recommend unless you need a flagship phone

did they have the silver one in stock at this price and did you have to take the top up voucher ?

I haven't seen the silver one on their website. I didn't have to take the top up voucher and thought getting same day free delivery was a nice bonus. Think Amazon have the silver for £115. I normally hate online chat systems but I have to say the lady I dealt with at Argos was brilliant.

Was gonna post the same.
I was after a cheap phone having got fed up with Apple. Based on reviews, I bought the Moto G. After 3 weeks with the Moto it was driving me mad, very slow, constant freezing and a poor interface. So sent it back to Amazon, and picked up the SU6 as a 'simple' replacement.
I wasn't expecting much but it has been great, no hang ups, brilliant screen and great battery life. Recommended.

Does it have NFC? None of the no-brand ones seem to, the Ultra 6 seems almost anomaly at the price point.
Just wish they did a smaller version with the rest of the spec the same.

Almost identical spec-wise but I expect the g4 to have better camera and build quality and its water repellent so there's that too.
Also I don't expect the Vodafone will be updated to marshmallow.

Not if you're on Vodafone it's not. No 800Mhz LTE on the Xiaomi RedMi Note 3 Pro, only 2600Mhz. Umi Super might be a better bet, or at least it was for me.
